CSA Midwest Region: Beth Dunlap Award

 The Midwestern Region presents The Beth Dunlap Award at the Regional Symposium. The award will be offered to a person who has made contributions worthy of the highest commendation and the achievements will have continued importance. Beth Dunlap was one of the founding members of the Midwestern Region. A fashion illustrator and artist, she passed away in 2009.

This scholarship is for students from the Marshfield area, attending the School of Nursing UW Eau Claire/UWSP at Marshfield OR Mid-State Technical College planning to enter the field of nursing. Midwest Asset Management University Program

Operating, maintaining, and preserving affordable housing is complex and requires a specialized set of skills and a deep organizational commitment to asset management. Today, affordable housing providers face a variety of economic, operational, and compliance challenges, including rising operating costs, rental arrears, staffing shortages, and an aging portfolio.

Enterprise is launching its first Asset Management University (AMU) Program in the Midwest (Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Missouri, and/or Minnesota) in March 2026 to support mission-aligned, affordable housing providers in meeting these challenges in their efforts to provide housing stability to residents and preserve the long-term affordability of properties.

The Midwest AMU is a comprehensive, five-month training program that seeks to strengthen the asset and property management capabilities of participating housing providers, improving organizations’ capacity to oversee the financial, physical, and operational health of their housing portfolios.

Midwest Asset Management University Cohort 

Enterprise is excited to offer this application for participation in the Asset Management University (AMU) Cohort (the “Cohort”). Up to fifteen (15) eligible organizations will be selected for this Cohort and will receive access to online training offered by the Consortium of Housing and Asset Management (CHAM), peer learning opportunities, and post-training technical assistance.

The initiative seeks to foster inclusive participation in democracy, ensuring that all voices are heard in shaping policies affecting their lives.

The Qualified Treatment Trainee Grants Program, in collaboration with UW-Milwaukee, aims to enhance the behavioral health workforce by supporting agencies hiring post-graduate trainees in social work, marriage and family therapy, and counseling. This initiative will expand placements for qualified treatment trainees (QTTs) who seek licensure as clinical social workers, professional counselors, or marriage and family therapists. By investing in QTTs and clinical supervisors, the program seeks to strengthen the capacity and quality of behavioral health services in Wisconsin.

The Herb Kohl Principal Leadership Award supports Wisconsin's private school principals and administrators by recognizing their leadership. Each year, up to four private school principals can receive a $6,000 grant, alongside a matching grant for their school. This award aims to help administrators achieve their professional goals and enhance their schools. Eligible nominees must be committed to their roles for the upcoming school year, and prior recipients may reapply if nominated.

The Herb Kohl Principal Leadership Award aims to honor and support exemplary school administrators in Wisconsin. Award recipients, including up to 17 principals annually, receive $6,000 grants for personal and school development. Eligible nominees are Pre-K through Grade 12 principals who are nominated by various stakeholders. The program fosters leadership excellence, enhancing educational experiences in Wisconsin's public and private schools.
