Applicant must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours, major in art and maintain a 2.0 GPA.

Bill Rabbit Legacy Art Scholarship

Applicant must be enrolled in an accredited, four-year, higher education institution pursuing a degree in fine arts or art education with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Accepted focuses include drawing, painting, sculpture, pottery, traditional beadwork and textiles. Three pictures of artwork must be included with application for consideration. This is a one-year scholarship reserved for Cherokee Nation and United Keetoowah Band citizens residing within the Cherokee Nation jurisdictional area.

MATRA Scholarship

Awards:

One time award of $7,500. Students may reapply for this scholarship for continued support based on their GPA for up to three years.

The Champion At Large Scholarship, offered by the Cherokee Nation Foundation, supports Cherokee Nation citizens who are full-time students or graduating high school seniors with a minimum GPA of 3.0. This one-year scholarship is specifically for those residing outside the Cherokee Nation jurisdiction and accepted into a two-year or four-year higher education institution. It aims to alleviate student debt and enhance educational opportunities for Cherokee students.

Margaret A. Stafford Nursing Scholarship

Award:

• One time award of $2,000. 

Ken Cicerale Memorial Music Scholarship

Award:

• One time award of $1,000. 

Keisha M. Michael Memorial Scholarship

Essay: Topic:

• “How a college education will help me make an impact on the community and affect my life.”

Award:

• One time award of $1,500. Awardees can re-apply.

Julie H. Shenk Memorial Scholarship

Award:

• One time award of $1,000.

FCA Foundation Scholarship

Award:

• One time award of $5,000. 

The Tommy Aaron/Charlie Aaron Foundation Scholarship, managed by the North Georgia Community Foundation, supports graduating seniors from Hall County or Gainesville City public schools and Lakeview Academy. This $10,000 scholarship, distributed over four years, promotes academic achievement and integrity through golf. Eligible applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5, demonstrate financial need, and exhibit strong character traits. This initiative aims to empower local students to pursue higher education while honoring the values of sportsmanship and respect.

The Mark B. Holzman Scholarship, offered by the Delaware Community Foundation, provides a one-time award of $2,500 to eligible Delaware residents. Applicants must have graduated from an accredited undergraduate institution and been accepted into an accredited graduate program in fields such as medicine, law, or ministry. Award 

The Glenn D. Peters Law School Scholarship is awarded to students who will be enrolled in law school for the upcoming Fall semester.

Scholarships are available for tuition costs at an accredited law school located anywhere in the United States of America. While financial need can be a factor, greater weight is assigned to academic achievement and involvement in quality extracurricular activities.

The Clarence and Bonnie Shaffer Scholarship, administered by the Marshall County Community Foundation, aims to support students affiliated with Trinity United Methodist Church pursuing post-secondary education in ministry, music ministry, or education. Preference is given to first-year undergraduates, but graduate students may also qualify if no undergraduates apply. Barkmeier Top Research Universities Scholarship, offered by the Marshall County Community Foundation, provides funding for students attending prestigious universities, including those in the Association of American Universities. This scholarship supports graduates from Marshall County high schools who can demonstrate residency and is renewable for previous recipients who meet eligibility criteria. The Eldon D.
