The Howard Vincent Kurtz Student Engagement Grant, funded by USITT, supports emerging theater artists with financial assistance up to $1,200 for academic costs. Grants cover research, travel, and project completion, along with a complimentary conference registration. Eligible applicants include undergraduate and graduate students in theatrical design and technology, nominated by a USITT member. Scholarships

The CBCF scholarship is open each year. Scholarships awarded will be for the following academic year. Scholarships are available only to students who graduated from a high school in one of the counties in the CBCF Service Area: Aransas, Bee, Jim Wells, Kleberg, Nueces, Refugio and San Patricio. Thanks to our generous donors, the Coastal Bend Community Foundation (CBCF) offers scholarships to students from over 100 funds.

Nueces County Junior Livestock Show Scholarships

This scholarship is open to any active member of a Nueces County FFA or FCCLA chapter or 4-H club who will graduate this academic year and has actively participated in the Nueces County Junior Livestock Show for at least two of his/her high school years.

College Attendance Requirements: It is mandatory that the scholarship winner attend a college, university or certified vocational trade school the fall semester immediately following selection and use the scholarship funds beginning that semester. Only with special permission from the Nueces County Junior Livestock Show Scholarship Committee may the use of the scholarship be deferred one year.

Criteria used in selecting scholarship recipients will include: (1) Stock show participation (2) FFA, FCCLA or 4-H participation (3) Academic achievement (4) College Exams and (5) Interview.

The Macdonald Foundation Work Ethic Scholarship, established in 2015, supports students from Marathon County and the Merrill area who demonstrate a strong work ethic. With over $300,000 awarded annually to more than 200 students, the scholarship is open to high school seniors and current college students planning to attend a four-year University of Wisconsin campus. Recipients can apply repeatedly, fostering ongoing educational opportunities and community engagement.

The Tom and Nancy Driscoll Foundation Scholarship was established to benefit and support Siskiyou County high school graduates planning to attend an accredited two or four-year college or vocational school.

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) invites applications for clinical trials and ancillary studies within its funded research networks. This program supports multi-center trials, emphasizing collaborations and responsive projects. The UG3/UH3 cooperative agreement will fund an initial 2-year planning phase, with a potential 5-year implementation phase. This notice is to prepare applicants for future submissions, as applications are currently not being solicited. Prioritization will be given to studies aligned with network capabilities.

The Wausau Area Builders Association Scholarship provides vital financial support to graduating seniors from high schools in communities served by the WABA. With over $300,000 awarded annually to more than 200 students, this scholarship honors Shirley Kruesel's legacy and encourages community service and involvement. Applicants should have a minimum GPA of 2.5, with a preference for those pursuing careers in the building trades or those with family ties to WABA members.

Quality Life Services has a long history of providing quality healthcare in Western Pennsylvania. In 1973, Kenneth R Tack Sr. and his sons Philip E. Tack and Kenneth R Tack Jr. founded Sugar Creek Rest in Worthington, PA. Quality Life Services has since expanded to include Chicora Medical Center in Chicora, PA; Trinity Living Center in Grove City, PA; Countryside in Mercer, PA; South Fayette Nursing Center in Markleysburg, PA; Henry Clay Villa in Markleysburg, PA; West Haven Manor in Apollo PA; Golden Hill Nursing and Rehab in New Castle, PA; Quality Pharmacy in Chicora, PA; and Fair Winds Manor in Sarver, PA.

The Sidney Awards, presented by the Sidney Hillman Foundation, celebrate outstanding journalism that serves the common good. Established to honor Sidney Hillman’s legacy, these monthly awards recognize investigative work and commentary that promote social justice. Nominations for the awards can be submitted for any medium, with a winner announced each month, receiving a $500 honorarium and a certificate. This initiative has been a prestigious platform for impactful storytelling for over 65 years.

The Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation Youth Grants empower young changemakers aged 5 to 25 to create impactful projects addressing childhood hunger. Grants of $500 are available to projects engaging at least 50 youth volunteers. Activities must occur during the Sodexo Servathon (April 1 – May 31, 2025) and should focus on sustainable solutions to combat hunger in local communities, encouraging participation from underserved youth.

Shasta Community Health Center Future Workforce Scholarship Fund

Shasta Community Health Center’s Future Workforce Scholarship is available for staff of Shasta Community Health Center, their children, and grandchildren. This scholarship will support high school seniors, college students (two- or four-year school), and trade students pursuing higher education in any field, either at a two- or four-year college or trade school.

Shasta Community Health Center’s mission is to provide high quality health care to our community with compassion and understanding. Our vision is to be a driving force in helping to remove barriers to health care and promote wellness for our entire community. With these scholarships, we encourage the children and grandchildren of our own staff to find a career/job path that contributes to the health and wellbeing of our community as modeled by your parents and grandparents in whatever field of interest appeals to you that serves your community.

Amber Coffman Campbell Memorial Fund

Amber and her generous heart took time to genuinely listen, as good friends do. She saw the bright side of everyone and believed in the goodness in each person. Her blue eyes were luminous and her smile made everything right in the world. Bubbly and effervescent, Amber was a soul of happy endless optimistic youth.

In 2007 Amber and Darby Campbell were married at their new home on Sunny Side Road. She fell for his dashingly romantic side and was swept away with his humor and creative ideas. He adored her passionate energy and bright spirit. They loved the sun and surf …and each other. Amber always had an interest in beauty. She was a model in her younger days and on Maui she found the Esthetician school from which she graduated in 2003. She creatively blended the idea of beauty with the natural world and brought about a new spa in 2008. Her creation of Wildflower Day Spa took off. It was an unfolding of her dream.

Amber was passionate, inspiring and generous of spirit. She brought forth an idea that there was always something about to unfold, something magical just in front of us, that something beautiful would happen this very day. And it always did, she would find something delightful in her path, even the littlest thing and embrace it.

Although Amber left this world too soon, she has given us a gift of her unbidden joy that we carry around with us in our hearts.

The Nourishing Neighbors Innovation Incubation Fund RFP invites organizations to submit innovative proposals aimed at ending hunger. With flexible funding ranging from $50,000 to $300,000, this initiative encourages diverse ideas, whether small or large-scale. Organizations are required to have a panel of advisors with lived experience and must operate within the U.S. This grant focuses on creating sustainable solutions, ensuring communities can achieve self-sufficiency in food access.

The AFM Local 802 Musicians’ Emergency Relief Fund provides emergency financial assistance to eligible performing arts and entertainment professionals facing unexpected critical needs. This fund supports basic living expenses, including healthcare, housing, and utilities, to help prevent eviction or shut-offs. To qualify, applicants must be current members in good standing and demonstrate financial need. However, the fund does not cover expenses such as credit cards, personal loans, and tuition.

The G. Scott Ransom Scholarship Fund, established by Team Duluth and the Duluth/Superior Alpine Club, supports youth athletes aged 5 to 19 in Northeastern Minnesota and Northwestern Wisconsin. This scholarship, honoring Coach Scott "Race" Ransom, helps cover team fee costs for competitive skiing experiences. By participating, young athletes not only enhance their skiing skills but also gain valuable life skills for future success. Award amounts vary based on individual needs.
