William H. Coleman, Sr. Scholarship Fund

The purpose of fund is to promote continued growth and career advancement through higher education in a nursing career to nurses and health care providers that are currently employed at Highlands Medical Center.

Alabama State Council on the Arts: Operating Support Grants

Operating Support grants are awarded to organizations that demonstrate a consistent track record of high artistic achievement, public service, and managerial competency. Creative Places Arts Facilities (CPAF) - Design Grants

The Creative Places Arts Facilities (CPAF) program assists arts organizations in building, renovating, restoring, or enhancing facilities used for arts activities that benefit Alabamians.

Design grants fund necessary steps to build, renovate, reuse, or restore an arts facility. Results must include tangible designs in the form of blueprints, schematics, renderings, or other documents needed for construction.

Applicants may request up to $75,000; these grants require applicant-funded expenses equal to, or greater than, the amount requested.

For a Baldwin County graduating senior or college student pursuing a degree in agriculture or related field at Auburn. Applicants must have 3.5 GPA and at least a 20 ACT score.

Elizabeth Martin-Wilma Scrivner Scholarship Fund

The scholarship is for an upcoming female junior or senior in the USA College of Education, who is a teacher candidate, has a minimum 3.2 GPA, provides evidence of interest/ involvement in educational groups, and demonstrates financial need. Award is only for tuition and fees.

The Josh Turner Scholarship Fund for the Arts, established by the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, empowers high school seniors from rural areas across ten southern states to pursue careers in music and the arts. This fund honors Josh Turner's journey in the music industry and aims to support students focusing on diverse opportunities within the music business, including performance, writing, and production, as well as various art disciplines.

The Fiscal Year 2026 Cooperating Technical Partners (CTP) Program, managed by FEMA, aims to enhance flood information delivery to communities through the development of flood hazard data and maps. By empowering local entities with mapping capabilities, the program fosters informed decision-making to mitigate flood risks. With a funding allocation of $41,000,000 across nine regions, the CTP strengthens public awareness and supports responsible planning among government and private sectors.

The Abelard Foundation, established in 1958, supports progressive social change projects located east of the Mississippi River. With an average grant size of $12,000, they prioritize new initiatives with budgets under $350,000. The foundation emphasizes community organizing, civil rights, and empowering marginalized groups. Eligible applicants must be associated with a nonprofit organization and demonstrate a commitment to local leadership and broader policy connections. The board meets biannually to decide on approximately 15 grants per year, focusing mainly on general support.

The purpose of the Alabama Arts License Tag Grant Program is to promote the arts in Alabama, especially arts education, including visual arts, dance, folk arts, drama, and music.

Fellowships recognize your artistic career to date and the potential for continued artistic growth, funding exploration and creative production by Alabama's artists. Competitive applications are thoughtful about how a Fellowship award would further personal artistic growth. 

Excellence in the art form is an essential quality of the work of Fellowship recipients. An emphasis is placed on the most recent five years of work in the field. A portfolio of exemplary work is carefully examined by staff, panelists, and the Grants Review Committee

Design Fellowships: for artists working in fashion, graphic, or industrial design.

Administrative Project grants provide support for these two categories of activity:

• Salary Support- Funding up to three new or existing positions, for part-time, full-time, or temporary employment.
• Professional Development or Capacity Building Projects - Providing non-degree education like conference registration and attendance, consultants and coaches for staff growth, or facilitated board retreats. Or for organizational growth efforts such as website development, archival projects, strategic planning, or similar activities that result in increased efficiency, effectiveness, or strengthened operations.

The Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) supports farmers and forest landowners in implementing conservation practices. By offering technical and financial assistance, EQIP addresses critical natural resource concerns, including improved water quality, soil health, and enhanced wildlife habitats. Eligible applicants include agricultural producers and owners of non-industrial private forestland. This program promotes sustainable agricultural practices, reduces environmental impact, and increases resilience against climate challenges, ensuring a healthier ecosystem for future generations.
