Hermann K. Brauer Memorial Scholarship Fund

Students must be preparing for a professional career in medicine, dentistry, nursing, engineering or other science, teaching or law. The scholarship will not be used for career preparation in veterinary medicine, funeral direction, mortuary science, or in the ministry. The student must demonstrate clear financial need. The Renee Powell Scholarship will be awarded through The LPGA Foundation and the LPGA Renee Powell Fund. Established in 2022, the Renee Powell Scholarship will provide financial aid to female, Black or African American, high school seniors pursuing a full-time course of study and playing collegiate golf at an accredited college or university in the United States. Through this effort, The LPGA Foundation will further its commitment to Change the Face of Golf and create opportunities for Black or African American girls to pursue their dreams.

This Scholarship also helps preserve her legacy, as an advocate for women’s golf, co-founder of The Chevron Championship and honorary member of the LPGA Tour Hall of Fame.

The Chevron Dinah Shore Scholarship is granted annually to female high school seniors who are pursuing a college education, but will not be playing collegiate golf. In an effort to preserve the legacy of Dinah Shore and her contributions to women's golf, Chevron is offering two (2 scholarships that will be awarded per year renewable over 4 years for each recipient.
