For students attending or planning to attend Fort Hays Tech North Central (Hays or Beloit Campus), pursuing a building trade degree.
Background
The Olson family lived and farmed in Cloud County, Kansas for many years. Alma Olson raised four children – Michael, Mary, Viola and Gladys. At the age of 13, when his father died, Michael took responsibility for his family farm and helped his mother with the home and cousins who had come to live with them. Michael was a skilled farmer and a generous man.
