Mission

The mission of CKCF is Building Stronger Communities Through Charitable Giving. Located in Newton, CKCF is a host foundation to 18 affiliates in the central Kansas region, supporting rural philanthropy.

History

The CKCF based in Newton, Kansas is thriving as a viable community foundation serving Newton while also being host to numerous affiliate community foundations throughout central Kansas. The Central Kansas Community Foundation was originally founded in 1994. Following a stable history serving a tri-county area the foundation merged in 2009 with the well-established Greater Newton Community Foundation. Today, the CKCF continues to demonstrate a commitment to strengthening communities across the entire Central Kansas region.

Wayne Willis Foundation Scholarship Fund

The scholarship was established to provide financial assistance to current graduating high school seniors or college/graduate students who are furthering their careers through a degree in wildlife management or conservation of natural resources.

Our mission is to enhance quality of life, today and in the future, by:

• Enabling donors to fulfill their charitable desires
• Building a permanent endowment
• Facilitating prudent management and care of funds
• Meeting needs through grants, awards, and scholarships

Who We Aare

Since 1983, the Topeka Community Foundation has worked to improve the quality of life in our region through an active partnership with donors and others who believe, as we do, that positive change occurs through effective charitable giving. Today, the Community Foundation manages almost 400 charitable funds established by individuals, families, and businesses and nonprofit organizations. Greater Kansas City Community Foundation 

The Greater Kansas City Community Foundation is a nationally respected leader in charitable giving, dedicated to improving quality of life in Greater Kansas City by increasing philanthropy, educating and connecting donors to community needs, and leading on critical local issues. R. E. (Rosey) Roseberry and Eileen E. Roseberry Scholarship Fund for Veterinary Medicine at KSU

R. E. (Rosey) Roseberry and Eileen E. Roseberry Scholarship Fund provides scholarship support to graduates of Unified School Districts 287, 288, 289, or 290 who have been admitted to the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. Eligible students must be graduates of one of the specified school districts and maintain enrollment in the veterinary medicine program with a minimum 2.5 GPA to remain eligible. Scholarship fund is administered through the Franklin County Community Foundation, supporting local students pursuing careers in veterinary medicine.

Diane Steinbrueck Women in Landscape Architecture Scholarship Fund

Female college junior or senior or graduate student pursuing a degree in landscape architecture at University of Texas at Austin, Texas A&M University, University of Texas Arlington, Kansas State University or Texas Tech University.

Established in 2013 through the generosity of Phil and Margaret Howe, the Foundation supports qualified 501(c)(3) organizations working to strengthen safety, opportunity, and quality of life in the Manhattan community.

The Howe Family Foundation (HFF) is dedicated to strengthening family bonds, promoting health and well-being, and fostering entrepreneurial spirit. We strive to empower individuals and communities by supporting initiatives that nurture strong families, advance physical and mental health, and inspire innovative business leadership for a thriving future.
