HOLA at Microsoft Scholarship

This scholarship supports high school seniors who self-identify as Hispanic/Latino decent and is a U.S. citizen, permanent legal resident or be an individual granted deferred action status under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Program. Eligible applicants must plan to study Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance or Marketing at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational school. This scholarship is a $5,000 award with up to five (5) scholarships granted.

The Kors, Lois E., Educational Scholarship, established by the Beatrice Educational Foundation, aims to support Beatrice High School graduates in pursuing higher education. With a strong commitment to academic achievement and civic involvement, the Foundation awards over $55,000 annually in scholarships. August Corso Scholarship Fund

Scholarships shall be awarded to residents of Erie County, Ohio pursuing a post-secondary education. Preference shall be given to students pursuing a degree in Horticulture, Environmental Science or Agricultural Business. Financial need is a consideration for the scholarship award.

Scholarships are available for students planning to attend an accredited nonprofit college or university, or planning to receive licensure, accreditation, or a certificate from a nonprofit vocational or apprenticeship program in the United States.

The scholarship may be renewed for a second, third, and fourth year.

The Mary E. Berger Scholarship was established with a gift from Mary E. Berger and a future gift by the estate of Mary E. Berger to assist high school students who wish to attend college or university or professional school to pursue studies in art, music, history, political science, English, journalism and related liberal arts subject.

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is seeking to enhance the Strategies to Innovate EmeRgENcy Care Clinical Trials Network (SIREN) through the establishment of a Clinical Coordinating Center (CCC) and Data Coordinating Center (DCC). For high school seniors or college students who reside in Green or Noble TOWNSHIPS (not county) in Noble County who are pursuing a college education in music, medicine or religion. One-time payment of $3,500. May reapply.

The Artist in Business Leadership (ABL) Fellowship supports Native artists in building sustainable art-centered businesses. This yearlong program provides $10,000 in funding along with professional development and networking opportunities. Eligible applicants must be 18 years or older, reside in the U.S., and be enrolled in or have lineage from a federally recognized tribe. The fellowship aims to empower artists to thrive within their communities while honoring their cultural heritage.

The Plainville Community Fund, established in 2006, serves as a vital resource for charitable programs enhancing the lives of residents in Plainville. Established in memory of Clarence B. Sharp, former mayor of Groton, this scholarship honors his significant contributions to local development and community infrastructure. The CFECT, founded in 1983, aims to enhance the quality of life across 42 towns in Eastern Connecticut through philanthropy and advocacy.

The David G. & Jacqueline M. Braithwaite Scholarship, administered by the East Texas Communities Foundation, supports graduating seniors from East Texas planning to major in biology, mathematics, engineering, or related fields. This scholarship aims to empower students pursuing careers in medicine, veterinary medicine, or biotechnology. Financial need is not a consideration, and the scholarship is renewable, reflecting a commitment to education and community development in East Texas.

The ACS Congressional Fellowship Program offers trained scientists the chance to engage in the policy-making process, providing critical information to lawmakers on science-related issues. Each year, two fellows are placed in the offices of Senators, Representatives, or Committees, with the aim of educating them on how science policy is formed.
