Angel Fund

Grant Details

The Angel Fund provides small grants to support the unmet health needs of Humboldt County residents. Grants are made on a one-time basis, per person, per 365-day period. Items that are of a recurrent nature are generally not funded.

Average grants range in size from $50 – $250 (grants in excess of $500 are seldom approved). Decisions to grant funds are contingent upon funding criteria and the availability of funds at the time of review. 

There is a two-week turnaround processing time required for application review and check processing. The committee meets every Tuesday, with the exception of holidays. Occasionally the committee will ask for additional information before making a decision. This will often result in a longer turn-around time.

Nonprofits and community-focused organizations on the Southern Oregon Coast, including Curry County, can seek large grants supporting conservation, sustainable tourism, and green economy projects. Curry County, Oregon 501(c)(3) nonprofits and public entities can access funding for local projects and programs through the Gold Beach Community Fund, administered by Oregon Community Foundation.
