Silverton Health Auxiliary Medical Career Scholarship
ilverton Health Auxiliary Medical Career Scholarship provides financial assistance to students from the Silverton Medical Center service area who are preparing for or pursuing a medical career at an accredited institution of higher education. The scholarship is administered through the Silverton Health Auxiliary in partnership with Legacy Silverton Medical Center. Awards are granted for one calendar year, with funding amounts and the number of awards varying annually.
Western Oregon University, SGM Charles H. Beauchamp Memorial Scholarship Fund
In 2001, ROTC graduates from Western Oregon University (WOU) established an alumni scholarship specifically for cadets at the Monmouth campus. They were mostly from the classes of 1990 and 1991, along with the then-assistant professor of military science, Captain David Larson.
While the cadets at WOU are eligible for all of the scholarships, these alumni wanted to do something special for the cadets at their alma mater. As part of their mission, the Army ROTC detachment at Oregon State University also provides instruction and training for students at Chemeketa Community College, Western Baptist College, Linn-Benton Community College and Western Oregon University.
