Luke Horton & Justin Phillips Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a Cherokee Nation citizen living inside or outside of the Cherokee Nation reservation. This scholarship is for general education with an emphasis on Information Technology and requires a minimum GPA of 2.0. It is for full-time students in undergraduate or graduate school or students going to vo-tech school.

The New Century Scholars Doctoral Scholarship, offered by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation, supports doctoral students who aspire to a teacher-investigator career in communication sciences and disorders in the U.S. Eligible candidates must be enrolled in a research doctoral program and show commitment to higher education. Dave Dupont Memorial Scholarship

The family remembers Dave as a very kind hearted, loving husband, father, and friend. He and his wife Sandi were married 35 years, and had 2 children Kyle and Danielle DuPont.

Charles Alan Beauchamp Scholarship

Applicant must be an undergraduate student majoring in an approved environmental field with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicant must have completed different areas of volunteer service. This is a one-year scholarship reserved for Cherokee Nation citizens residing within the Cherokee Nation jurisdictional area.

Carol J. Kenagy Nursing Education Scholarship

In memory of Carol J. Kenagy, RN and through the wonderful generosity of our donors, Silverton Health Foundation is able to offer continuing education scholarships for Legacy Silverton staff pursuing nursing degrees.

The Carol J. Kenagy Nursing Education Scholarships will be awarded on an annual basis.

All clinical programs are eligible and encouraged to apply.

The Cancer Center Support Grants (CCSGs) aim to bolster NCI-Designated Cancer Centers through funding that supports diverse research activities. These grants enhance comprehensive, clinical, and basic cancer research while fostering collaboration among institutions. The program prioritizes interdisciplinary approaches to advance cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, ultimately reducing cancer's impact on public health. CCSGs also facilitate resource sharing, administrative support, and the development of innovative research initiatives.

The Gainbridge Assists Powered by Parity Grant, in partnership with Parity and the Women’s Sports Foundation, supports girls and women in sports and education. In 2024, $222,000 will be awarded through 32 grants, including a $50,000 grant honoring Billie Jean King. This initiative aims to empower over 5,000 participants, fostering community transformation through sports and educational opportunities.

The Miniaturization and Automation of Tissue Chip Systems (MATChS) initiative by the NIH aims to advance biomedical research through the development of automated tissue chip platforms. This program encourages small businesses to propose innovative technologies that enhance data acquisition and analysis while minimizing manual handling. Funded projects will create efficient, miniaturized systems vital for drug development and other research applications. Collaboration with NIH staff is expected to ensure milestones and commercial pathways are effectively established.

The Vaccinated & Loved Campaign Grant, offered by Petco Love, supports organizations that provide free vaccine services to communities in need.
