Skyla Credit Union Herman Hoose Scholarship
The Skyla Foundation is dedicated to partnering with and supporting the local community through annual scholarship awards to high school seniors in pursuit of continuing education.
Each May, Skyla awards $5,000 Herman Hoose Scholarships to deserving students who are graduating from high school in the current school year and enrolls in an institution of higher education for the fall of that same year.
Skyla is partnering with the Carolinas Credit Union Foundation on the 2025-2026 Herman Hoose Scholarship cycle. The application window is from now through February 1, 2026.

Scholarships range from $500 to $5,000 and are available based on achievements and/or financial need.
When you apply for a HopeSouth Scholarship, you’re also entered into consideration for multiple opportunities. We have partnered with Carolinas Foundation Scholarship Program — giving you even more opportunities to fund your education.

Sharonview CARES Paul Paliyenko Scholarship Fund
We're proud to support the academic goals of our young members and family members of our Sharonview team. Each year, we partner with the Carolinas Credit Union Foundation to honor deserving students with scholarship money to help with the costs of their higher education needs.
Any applicant that does not receive a scholarship award from Sharonview is automatically entered in the Carolinas Credit Union Foundation's scholarship pool.
Paul Paliyenko, who served on Sharonview’s Board of Directors for more than 25 years, felt it was the Credit Union’s first duty to serve its members. He insisted that it was the responsibility of the Credit Union to create not only the best returns for its members, but to establish a trusting relationship with them. Paliyenko’s drive to care for the member is why we honor his memory with the Sharonview Cares Scholarship.

SAFE is proud to offer eleven deserving high school seniors a $2,500 college scholarship to start their journey to higher education.
About
At our core, we are the primary advocate for credit unions, focusing on our members' collective political voice. We help promote credit union success through risk management support, product enhancement, service delivery, and employee advancement.
Southeastern Regional Credit Union School (SRCUS) Scholarship
Southeastern Regional Credit Union School (SRCUS), in partnership with a few Southeastern credit union leagues, invites interested applicants to apply for scholarships to attend the upcoming year of Southeast Management School.
SRCUS’ Southeast Management School utilizes faculty from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business as well as industry experts. It is a three-year curriculum where students participate on campus each summer for six days. Throughout the year, student apply their knowledge to projects that require strategic analysis of their credit union and research relevant issues facing the industry.
This scholarship program provides $3,000 in scholarships per state, to be awarded to students based on future management potential, involvement in the credit union movement, positions held, and other supportive criteria. The scholarship program is open to all professionals from League-affiliated credit unions. Scholarships recipients must reapply each year.

Headquartered in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and founded in 1949 within the aviation industry, Piedmont Advantage Credit Union (PACU) serves member-owners, who reside, work, worship, attend school or operate a business in one of the six counties it serves in North Carolina or who are employed by one of its many employer companies. These six counties are Davie, Forsyth, Guilford, Iredell, Mecklenburg and Rockingham.

The Carolinas Credit Union Foundation offers a General Fund Scholarship if you are not chosen, or are not eligible, to receive a Palmetto Citizens Scholarship. You are automatically entered into this General Fund Scholarship by submitting an application for the Palmetto Citizens Scholarship (cannot be awarded both).

Academic Scholarships for Full-Time Students
As a benefit of membership, Blue Flame Credit Union provides eligible student members with the opportunity to apply for scholarships through the Carolina’s Credit Union Foundation. Applications are generally available beginning mid December, with scholarships usually being awarded the following May.

For MTC Federal members who are pursuing an undergraduate degree and seeking financial assistance.

If you are an MTC Federal Credit Union member pursuing an undergraduate degree, the MTC Federal Scholarship Program may be able to provide financial assistance. For those who apply but aren’t selected, the Carolinas Credit Union Foundation General Fund Scholarship offers another opportunity.
For those who apply to the MTC Federal Foundation Scholarship Program but aren’t accepted, the Carolinas Credit Union Foundation Scholarship may be able to provide financial assistance.
Scholarships do not automatically renew; selected recipients will receive a one-time distribution of funds. However, prior recipients are welcome to reapply.
