Hinsdale Junior Woman’s Club Service Project & Grant 

HJWC was founded in 1949 with the mission to enrich our community, the lives of our members and their families. In 2018-2019, HJWC launched our new Grant Fundraising model to help fund tangible items with a lasting impact for deserving organizations. Since then, more than $1.4 million has been granted by HJWC to non-profit organizations in Chicagoland and the Western Suburbs. Each club year, members also donate time towards service projects and scholarship awards.

HJWC partners with local nonprofits to volunteer time and services. In the 2025-2026 club year, our members completed over 250 service hours and served 13 nonprofit organizations within our local community.

These service projects provide opportunities for our members to work directly with local nonprofit organizations through meaningful, hands-on volunteer projects. Projects should be 2-3 hours in length and able to accommodate 10 or more HJWC members.
