CommonSpirit Health and our local facilities support nonprofit organizations that share our mission, vision and values. We give priority to programs that improve access to care and promote health equity and healthier communities.

CommonSpirit is proud to support nonprofit organizations that help improve the health and well-being of our communities. Guided by our mission, vision and values, we prioritize projects that focus on advancing health equity, improving access to care and improving community wellness.

Kentucky homelessness service providers and shelter operators can access funding through Kentucky Housing Corporation to support emergency shelters, rapid rehousing, and homelessness prevention efforts. This competitive Emergency Solutions Grant program in Kentucky offers up to US $150,000 to engage people experiencing homelessness, improve and operate shelters, and help individuals and families regain housing stability.

The Kentucky Conference Mission Grants provide financial support for mission work within the Kentucky Annual Conference and internationally. Grants of up to $2,000 are awarded to churches, institutions, and projects that align with the mission of the United Methodist Church, focusing on outreach in areas such as addiction, food insecurity, and support for refugees. This initiative aims to foster community transformation through various mission efforts across Kentucky.

Kentucky 501(c)(3) nonprofits with at least five years of history can apply for the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels’ Good Works large grants, awarding more than US $10,000 for tangible items or projects. Organizations providing homelessness services, crisis support, or related community programs in Kentucky may be especially competitive if projects directly benefit many clients.

Kentucky 501(c)(3) nonprofits seeking support for homelessness services and other community programs can apply for small or new-organization grants funding tangible items and projects. Grants from Honorable Order Of Kentucky Colonels help Kentucky organizations in areas like homeless and crisis services, community support, education, health, and youth programs with requests up to US $5,000.

Kentucky 501(c)(3) nonprofits serving people experiencing homelessness and related community needs can request US $2,500 - US $9,999 for tangible items or projects. Kentucky homelessness services can access funding through Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels to support community support, crisis intervention, health, rehabilitation, youth services, and other visible, client-serving resources that reach many beneficiaries.
