Dave Dupont Memorial Scholarship

The family remembers Dave as a very kind hearted, loving husband, father, and friend. He and his wife Sandi were married 35 years, and had 2 children Kyle and Danielle DuPont.

Dave loved to give back to his community, and attend as many fundraisers as he could. Dave would be proud to be able to give back to the kids in his community.

The Jean Y. and Robert W. Fish Memorial Scholarship Fund, managed by the San Antonio Area Foundation, offers financial support to high school seniors from Bexar County pursuing higher education. This renewable scholarship covers tuition, fees, and books for students enrolled full-time in accredited colleges or universities. Applicants must demonstrate good citizenship and financial need, with a minimum GPA requirement of 3.0 for renewal. Since 1964, this fund has helped many students achieve their educational goals.

The Community Foundation of Hancock County offers educational support for Hancock County, Indiana adults who are seeking post-secondary training or schooling to improve their career prospects. There are also some opportunities provided by specific businesses in the area. The application is open year-round until all funds are used.

Nancy King “Dare to Dream” Fund

The purpose of this fund is to honor the Greenfield Kiwanis Club, a group whose members were like family to Nancy, through the provision of scholarships to persons who wish to obtain additional education.

Scholarships

The CBCF scholarship is open each year. Scholarships awarded will be for the following academic year. Scholarships are available only to students who graduated from a high school in one of the counties in the CBCF Service Area: Aransas, Bee, Jim Wells, Kleberg, Nueces, Refugio and San Patricio. Thanks to our generous donors, the Coastal Bend Community Foundation (CBCF) offers scholarships to students from over 100 funds.

Wilson - Chase Wilson Memorial 4-H Scholarship

Purpose

In memory of Chase Wilson, a former outstanding Nueces County 4-H member, who died in 1985 as a result of a tragic accident. Chase was a senior student at Texas A&M University in the College of Agriculture. He was due to graduate in the spring of 1985 with plans of a career ahead. The scholarship was established by his family to encourage 4-H members to continue their education beyond the high school level.

The West-Gray Scholarship Fund, established in 2014, supports undergraduate and graduate students in applied geology who demonstrate academic excellence and are members of the Association of Environmental & Engineering Geologists. This fund aids students conducting field studies in environmental and engineering geology particularly in the eastern United States, fostering future professionals in the field.

Adult Re-Education Fund

Scholarship eligibility requires students to attend an accredited 2 or 4 year public or private institution of higher learning. All scholarships are for full-time students, unless otherwise noted. Renewable awards are for 4 years of undergraduate study and cannot be used for post graduate coursework; all awards are paid directly to the school or may be used for book reimbursement.

The Kathy, Russ and Jim Keller Scholarship, administered by the Crown Point Community Foundation, offers financial support to graduating high school seniors pursuing a degree in Special Education. This scholarship aims to enrich the quality of life in South Lake County by providing necessary funding for educational endeavors. Eligible applicants must reside within the CPCF service area. This non-renewable scholarship encourages local youth to advance their education and contribute positively to their community.

East Central Ag Crop Insurance Agency Scholarship Fund

Wanting to give back to the community of Randolph County, the owners of East Central Ag Crop Insurance Agency felt there was a need to create a scholarship solely for those students who are pursuing higher education in agriculture, whose ultimate goal is an agricultural-based career. It is awarded to a Randolph County senior pursuing education in the field of agriculture with a G.P.A. of 2.7 or higher.

The AACAP Educational Outreach Program for General Psychiatry Residents offers a unique opportunity for residents to gain insights into child and adolescent psychiatry. Participants will network with mentors and peers, attend the 71st AACAP Annual Meeting from October 14-19, 2024, and receive a stipend of up to $1,200 post-meeting. This program prioritizes first-time applicants, ensuring a valuable experience in a supportive environment while expanding professional connections.

Inspiring Randolph County-Jammie Michael Scholarship Fund

“The idea of this scholarship came when I started researching possible scholarship opportunities for my son Reece. He was a Junior at the time and the thought of planning and paying for college felt overwhelming. I reflected on the time Reece spent in school and was reminded of all the hours spent studying, the tears, fights, and late nights. Reece worked so hard and, over time, achieved great things. The Tri Kappa Scholarship - Sue Crisman Memorial Scholarship, established by the Crown Point Community Foundation, supports women over 21 who are returning to education after a significant gap and are involved in community service. This non-renewable scholarship aims to enhance the quality of life in South Lake County by providing financial assistance to deserving candidates. CultureSource is a member association for non-profit arts and cultural organizations in Southeast Michigan serving Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Livingston, Monroe and St. Clair counties. The Spector Craft Prize for Emerging Artists

The Spector Craft Prize (the “Prize”) is an annual initiative launched in 2025 to champion excellence in American craft. Founded by Abigail Klem Spector and Warren Spector through the Spector Family Foundation, the program supports craft artists at pivotal moments in their careers through awards, mentorship, and community-building.

Aim of the Prize

The Spector Craft Prize for Emerging Artists seeks to identify and support exceptional emerging craft artists whose work demonstrates technical mastery, innovative vision, and deep engagement with American culture. The Henry Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar Awards Program supports early-career faculty in the chemical sciences at undergraduate institutions. Through institutional nominations, it provides $75,000 unrestricted research grants to enhance scholarly research and teaching. Eligible nominees must hold full-time tenure-line positions and be within their fourth to twelfth independent academic years, demonstrating a strong commitment to undergraduate education. This funding opportunity fosters the development of promising educators and researchers in the chemical sciences.

The Feeding Student Success Scholarship Fund, managed by the San Antonio Area Foundation, empowers students by providing financial support for tuition, fees, books, and supplies. Open to all areas of study, this scholarship is available to full-time and part-time students who demonstrate financial need and have a minimum GPA of 2.5. With 120 awards available, the fund aims to enhance educational opportunities for those living near a Whataburger, promoting community growth and academic success.

The LAM Foundation offers Pilot and Feasibility Research Awards aimed at fostering innovative research in lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM). These awards support hypothesis-driven studies with the potential to advance understanding and treatment options for this rare disease. Applicants can request a maximum of $50,000 for a period of up to one year. The Foundation prioritizes new researchers, encouraging fresh perspectives in LAM research to enhance patient care and ultimately achieve a future without LAM.

The Citizens' Institute on Rural Design (CIRD), a partnership between the National Endowment for the Arts and the Housing Assistance Council, invites rural communities to apply for design support. CIRD aims to enhance rural life and economic viability through planning and creative placemaking, empowering local citizens to address unique community challenges. The Foundation and its fundholders have proudly awarded over $6.7 million in scholarships in just the last decade.

High-Achieving Four-Year Scholarship

This 4-year scholarship is given annually to students who have demonstrated overall academic achievement and dedication to service within the school and in his/her community, and have low family income. The Foundation also considers applicants’ motivation, financial need, and personal experiences.

Maintenance

In order to maintain the scholarship each year, the recipient must maintain a minimum overall 3.0 GPA throughout his/her college studies.
