Therapeutic Child Care Grant Program
The Therapeutic Child Care Grant Program provides grants to providers that specialize in providing child care and early childhood education to children under the age of 6 who have developmental delays, physical disabilities, or delays in social, emotional, or behavioral functioning.
This grant program provides funding for non-profit and for-profit, health/medical-based child care in coordination with early education services for children under age 6 who have developmental delays, physical disabilities, or delays in social, emotional, or behavioral functioning. Programs must demonstrate qualified staffing, equipment, partnerships, and coordination necessary to meet the needs of children with serious medical and developmental challenges.
Funding Amount Available
$3,700,000 is available. MSDE reserves the right to renew the grant for two additional funding years through June 30, 2030, contingent upon available funds, compliance, and State budget approval.
