Robert & Grace Karst R.N. Scholarship

This scholarship was created by Grace Karst RN, who dedicated 44 years to the nursing profession and as a nursing home administrator. Her husband Robert served in the Army, was a White House guard, and eventually retired after 36 years working for the railroad.

This award is presented to a Whitley County student intent upon becoming a Registered Nurse.

The Adapted PE/Activity Graduate Student of the Year Award recognizes outstanding graduate students in adapted physical education and physical activity who have made significant contributions to the lives of individuals with disabilities. Sponsored by the Society of Health and Physical Educators, this award emphasizes leadership, dedication, and commitment to inclusive practices in physical education. It aims to inspire future professionals in the field while promoting excellence in adapted physical activity and disability sport.

The Victoria E. & Randal D. Miller Scholarship is a need-based scholarship awarded every four years, with the next award scheduled for 2026. It offers up to $1,000 annually and is renewable for up to four years contingent on maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.0. The Quad Cities Mexican American Organization Scholarship, administered by the Quad Cities Community Foundation, offers up to $1,000 to students of Hispanic descent pursuing post-secondary education. Applicants must maintain a GPA of at least 2.0 and can apply for renewal. This scholarship aims to support educational advancement in the Quad Cities region, reflecting a commitment to fostering academic success among underrepresented communities.

The Paul and Beverly Eckert Scholarship, offered by the Quad Cities Community Foundation, provides financial support of up to $4,000 annually to graduating seniors from select Davenport high schools. STS Perioperative & Critical Care Conference Resident Scholarship

Purpose

This Resident Scholarship allows CT surgery residents to attend the STS Perioperative & Critical Care Conference. The scholarship covers course registration fees, two nights' lodging at the host hotel, and and expense reimbursement of eligible travel expenses.

Course Description

Attendees of the 2026 STS Perioperative & Critical Care Conference will explore the latest techniques and management strategies in cardiovascular and thoracic (CVT) critical care and enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS). This two-day event features dynamic and interactive presentations, hands-on demonstrations, scientific abstracts, and expert panel discussions designed for all members of the CVT perioperative and critical care team. Tampa Jazz Club

The Tampa Jazz Club was incorporated as a non- profit organization in 1995, with the objective of “generating interest in preserving, understanding and performing jazz.”

Tampa Jazz Club Scholarship

The Tampa Jazz Club is committed to encouraging talented young jazz students and to presenting great live jazz in Tampa.

Since 2003, we have awarded Tampa Jazz Club scholarships to graduating area high school seniors who went on to study jazz performance or education. To date, we have awarded $24,750 to 22 graduates.

The Morency Family Scholarship supports young adults from foster care backgrounds in pursuing higher education or vocational training. This scholarship aims to assist those who may face financial barriers after high school graduation. With a focus on applicants from specific counties in Illinois and Iowa, the scholarship provides up to $2,000 annually and is renewable until graduation or age 25, contingent on maintaining a minimum GPA of 2.0.

The Mike Condon Memorial Scholarship offers financial support to students interested in construction, with awards of up to $1,500 per year. Applicants must have a minimum 2.25 GPA and reside in Clinton, Scott, or Muscatine counties. The scholarship allows for reapplication up to four times, emphasizing trade experience. Preference is given to those with relevant educational backgrounds or participation in construction-related activities, ensuring a focus on developing skills in this vital industry.

The Loren and Tammy Bockwoldt Family Scholarship, administered by the Quad Cities Community Foundation, awards up to $2,000 annually to three qualified students, totaling no more than $6,000. Applicants must be high school seniors from Durant or Wilton, Iowa, with a minimum GPA of 2.5 and demonstrated financial need. The Kellly Marie Mcquate Memorial Scholarship, offered by the Quad Cities Community Foundation, supports graduating high school seniors from Rock Island or Scott County, IL, who have lost a parent. Applicants must plan to enroll full-time in college, with merit evaluated through school and community activities. The Robert L. Wesley Award, established by the SOM Foundation in 2020, honors BIPOC undergraduate students in architecture and related fields. Each year, three students receive a $10,000 award along with mentorship from leading BIPOC professionals. This initiative aims to support the educational journey of these students, enabling them to pursue their aspirations in design without financial constraints. The award fosters a community of support, encouraging the next generation of licensed architects to thrive.

The Lillian & Warren Woodward Memorial Scholarship, awarded by the Elk Grove Regional Scholarship Foundation, supports students pursuing education, especially in teaching or special education. This $1,000 scholarship is available to students from eligible Elk Grove schools with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Applicants must demonstrate community service involvement and write an essay reflecting their experiences. The scholarship aims to enhance educational opportunities and foster community engagement among youth.

The Laura A. Lujan Autry Scholarship Fund provides financial support of $1,750 to eligible students from specific schools such as Elk Grove High and Cosumnes River College. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and demonstrate financial need. This scholarship encourages students with interests in nursing and agricultural programs, particularly those from single-parent households or with prior involvement in relevant activities. It aims to enhance educational opportunities within the community.

The Kiwanis Club of Rancho Murieta offers the Turn Around Scholarship to support local students in their educational pursuits. Six scholarships of $1,000 each are available for eligible high school seniors from Pleasant Grove, Sheldon, Calvine, Las Flores, Rio Cazadero, and William Daylor. Applicants must demonstrate academic improvement and a minimum GPA of 3.0, as well as overcome personal challenges. This initiative aims to empower youth and strengthen community ties.

The Kiwanis Club of Rancho Murieta offers scholarships to graduating high school seniors who are residents of Rancho Murieta, Sloughhouse, or Wilton. With three scholarships available at $2,000 each, eligibility includes a minimum GPA of 2.0 and full-time enrollment in a post-secondary institution. The Kiwanis Club of Elk Grove Scholarship offers a $1,000 award to eligible high school students from Elk Grove, including Elk Grove High, Cosumnes High, Laguna Creek High, and Monterey Trail High. Applicants must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5, demonstrate full-time enrollment in a post-secondary institution, and participate in school and community activities. A Key Club membership and a 200-500 word essay detailing the applicant's experiences and future goals are also required.

The Kiwanis Club of Elk Grove offers the Jessie Baker Memorial Scholarship, valued at $1,000, aimed at supporting local students pursuing education in Special Education Teaching or related fields. Applicants must be full-time students from designated Elk Grove high schools, maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5, and demonstrate financial need. A personal essay outlining educational objectives is required, along with participation in school and community activities, ensuring a commitment to both academic and civic engagement.

The Lester Little Ag Education Scholarship, offered by the Muskingum County Community Foundation, aims to support graduating seniors pursuing higher education in agricultural studies. Scholarships will be awarded to students from John Glenn, Philo, Tri-Valley, Maysville, and West Muskingum High Schools. Preference is given to those active in their school's ag programs and 4-H, with additional consideration for female applicants, fostering a commitment to agricultural education and community engagement.

The Buhl Regional Health Foundation Scholarships provide essential financial support to students pursuing healthcare education. Open to high school seniors from Mercer County, PA, these scholarships enable recipients to earn degrees, diplomas, or certificates in various healthcare fields. By investing in the education of future healthcare professionals, the foundation aims to enhance community well-being and empower students to develop vital skills for a successful career in healthcare.

The Edwin R. Stucky Debate Scholarship, administered by the McPherson County Community Foundation, is designed for graduating seniors from McPherson County who have participated in the high school debate program. One $1,250 scholarship is available, which is renewable for an additional year, totaling $2,500. Preference will be given to students attending Moundridge High School. This scholarship aims to support students in furthering their education at a public post-secondary institution.
