Preston Coiner Scholarship
The Preston Coiner Scholarship is a multi-year award administered through the Charlottesville Scholarship Program. Based on funding availability, the award may be used for a two or four year undergraduate program. Only one award is given every four years.
Bill Boehlke Scholarship
Bill Boehlke worked for both the Seattle Seahawks and Seattle SuperSonics as a creative member of their digital communications departments. His imagination, humor and positive personality were appreciated by everyone he worked with. In memory of Bill, his family established this scholarship fund in 2020. The fund will provide scholarships to high school seniors in the state of Washington who are pursuing a career in digital communications, including social media video production. Scholarships will help cover qualified expenses including tuition, books and other expenses necessary for their classes. Scholarships are not renewable. Special consideration will be given to students based on financial needs and the applicant’s history of good character and community service.

Scholarships
CFHZ awards over $1 million in scholarships each year for students to attend schools of higher education throughout the nation. Our scholarships are possible thanks to the generosity of donors who invest in our community’s future by furthering the education of others.
All Holland/Zeeland area individuals interested in post-secondary education are encouraged to apply for CFHZ scholarships.
The Foundation proudly administers over 100 scholarships, each with unique eligibility criteria that must be met before a candidate can be considered.

Our mission is to serve as a catalyst in maximizing the skills and creativity of educators at the K-12 levels and in cultivating pioneering approaches to teaching that result in dynamic student learning.
The McCarthey Dressman Education Foundation sponsors proposals that enhance student learning and educational quality, paying particular attention to those that best serve the at-risk and under-funded, including:
The Foundation partners with individuals to expand educational opportunities for America’s youth that inspire students by nurturing their curiosity about the world and their place in it. Funding includes scholarships that provide far more than just tuition and books; grants that benefit the lives of more than just those who receive them; and results that reach far beyond the classroom in which the projects are introduced.
Student Teaching Scholarships/Mentoring
Designed to instill a lifelong, passionate commitment to education and learning at the highest level, McCarthey Dressman scholarships offer financial and mentoring support to educators who will be student teaching in their final year of a qualified teacher education program. Foundation mentors offer one-on-one guidance and attention to nurture the next generation of teachers. Scholarship recipients acquire and strengthen exemplary teaching practices that promote learning by their own students.
The Foundation awards one-year scholarships in the amount of $6,000 each to college students enrolled in teacher education programs at New Mexico State University; the University of California, Santa Cruz; The University of Texas at Austin; and Stephen F. Austin State University.

Selkirk Pickleball Growth Program
At Selkirk, we are committed to growing the sport of pickleball by making it accessible to everyone. The Selkirk Growth Program enables schools and community programs worldwide to access Selkirk equipment.
Our original goal was to give away 3,000+ paddles a year; we have now given away more than 40,000 paddles since we started in 2019. As part of our Growth Program, we are donating gently-used paddles to:
Schools.
We will also provide a discount on additional paddles, balls, and nets for schools and charities involved in the program.
Taylor Farms Scholarship
This year’s program continues the expanded format, offering three distinct scholarship divisions designed to support both Taylor Farms Employees and their children.
Taylor Farms Scholarship : Extraordinary Scholarship
Award: 20 applicants will be awarded a $ 7,500 renewable scholarship. Once initially awarded, applicants may renew their scholarship for three (3) additional years if the below requirements are met.
American Society of Plant Biologists
Mission
The American Society of Plant Biologists was founded in 1924 to promote the growth and development of plant biology, to encourage and publish research in plant biology, and to promote the interests, growth, and education of plant scientists in general. Over the decades the Society has evolved and expanded to provide a forum for molecular and cellular biology as well as to serve the basic interests of plant science. It publishes the highly cited and respected journals Plant Physiology and The Plant Cell. Membership spans six continents, and our members work in such diverse areas as academia, government laboratories, and industrial and commercial environments. The Society also has a large student membership. ASPB plays a key role in uniting the international plant science disciplines.
ECPS Travel Award
The Early Career Plant Scientists section of ASPB is currently accepting applications for travel awards for the annual meeting in Ottawa, July 18-22.
Priority will be placed on funding students, but all eligible Early Career Researchers will be considered.

Cameron Holland Scholarship Fund
The Cameron Holland Memorial Scholarship is established to remember Cameron and recognize a Ralston Valley senior student who has established academic, athletic and character traits that are complementary to Cameron’s memory. Cameron was dedicated to academic achievement, participated in football and track and had a kind and generous personality.
This scholarship is a one-time award. Award amounts may be used toward the recipient’s tuition, fees, required books and supplies, room and board, and other qualified educational expenses. Award must be used for the upcoming academic year.

The Richard D. Pell Future Veterans Award is awarded to each graduating senior entering any branch of the American Armed Forces following graduation.

ACS Award in Industrial Chemistry
Purpose
To recognize outstanding contributions to chemical research in the industrial context. Significant creative contribution to chemistry in any field of chemical, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical, or biochemical research is appropriate.
The award consists of $5,000 and a certificate. Up to $2,500 for travel expenses to the meeting at which the award will be presented will be reimbursed.

Graduating senior from a high school within the Community Foundation’s primary service area.
Brooks Family First Generation Scholarship
Graduating senior or graduating early college student from one of the following high schools: Black River, Holland High School, West Ottawa, Zeeland East, or Zeeland West.
Benjamin H. Van Andel Promise of Excellence Scholarship
This scholarship recognizes and supports exceptionally talented students in any field who exhibit the gifts and passion to be world class leaders, performers, or artists in their area of giftedness.
Zeeland Rotary – Donald Morgan Memorial Scholarship
Graduating senior who resides in the Zeeland Public School District (student does not have to attend Zeeland Public Schools to be eligible).
Batts Family Scholarship
Graduating senior or graduating early college student who attends public, private, or home school in the primary service area of the Community Foundation.
UCHealth Employee Scholarships
With thanks to our generous donors, UCHealth Northern Colorado Foundation is pleased to offer academic scholarships to UCHealth employees in northern Colorado.
Scholarships are available to support permanent and relief employees’ academic pursuits toward an associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, or doctorate program. Applicants will be considered for all scholarships for which they are eligible via the completion of a single application.
Awards are typically paid-out in August, 2026. Scholarship award amounts may vary from $500-$2,000.
