Everett J. Liebetreu Education Scholarship

This scholarship has been made possible by the generosity of Everett J. Liebetreu, who established the Everett J. Liebetreu Scholarship of the Community Foundation for Mason County.

The Joan Robinson Scholarship, offered by the Community Foundation of the Ozarks, provides a $1,900 scholarship to graduating high school seniors from Perry County, MO. Applicants must submit a transcript, an essay detailing community service and work experience, and a letter of recommendation. Preference is given to those pursuing degrees in Environmental Science. This initiative aims to enhance the quality of life through education, aligning with the foundation's core values of integrity, respect, and leadership.

The Niagara Cares SkillPointe Scholarship offers $1,000 to $3,000 for individuals pursuing high-demand careers in manufacturing. George and Mary Matijevich Scholarship Fund

For a current year graduating senior from Burgettstown High School, Avella High School, or Fort Cherry High School, who demonstrates financial need and is pursuing post-secondary education in electronics, mechanics, mechatronics, machine tool technology or a related field. 

The NIOSH Centers of Excellence for Total Worker Health® (U19) aims to enhance worker well-being by funding research and translation activities that address harmful exposures and improve working conditions. Priority areas include high-risk occupations, young workers, and chronic diseases. The initiative emphasizes strong project coordination, scientific rigor, and economic evaluations. Projects must utilize the NIOSH Worker Well-Being Questionnaire and share findings with the HERO Clearinghouse, fostering innovative solutions for employers and workers.

The Aaaron Ardoin Foundation offers Research and Education Grants aimed at supporting organizations that address the needs of individuals and families affected by sickle cell disease. With a focus on funding programs that advance awareness, treatment, and care, the foundation reviews grant requests biannually. Preference will be given to certificate, trade, or technical school applicants. Awardees may be eligible for up to three subsequent-year scholarships, provided they maintain eligibility.

The Donaghue Foundation's Another Look Grant focuses on enhancing health and well-being for older adults in long-term care facilities. It prioritizes research that utilizes existing datasets and includes stakeholders to inform project development. High-priority topics include improving palliative care, workforce innovations, and addressing disparities in care quality.
