Doug Struthers taught at Alexander Graham Bell Elementary in the Lake Washington School District for more than two decades. Four Lake Washington School District students every year are chosen to receive this $5,000 renewable scholarship.

The Carnegie-Whitney Grant, established by Andrew Carnegie in 1902, supports the creation of bibliographical aids for American libraries.
