Breast Cancer Screening & Prevention Initiative

The Breast Cancer Screening & Prevention Initiative, supported by the McKesson Foundation and administered by the NAFC, aims to expand access to lifesaving breast cancer screening and prevention services for uninsured and medically underserved. Team Schnak Strong Fund

The purpose of the Team Schnak Strong Fund is to provide funds to qualified individuals to cover expenses related to the treatment of childhood Type I Diabetes. Grant requests will be considered for children up to the age of 21. Full time students at Emporia State University or Flint Hills Technical College are eligible until the age of 24.

This grant aims to enhance national immunization programs in the Eastern Mediterranean Region by focusing on capacity building, disease control, and outbreak response. The GLS Campus Suicide Prevention program aims to enhance behavioral health services for college students, addressing critical issues such as suicide, depression, and substance use disorders. By fostering a culture of help-seeking and reducing stigma, this initiative ensures that at-risk students receive timely intervention and support. The program represents a vital investment in the mental well-being of students, promoting a healthier campus environment through evidence-based strategies and comprehensive public health approaches.

The State Pilot Program for Treatment for Pregnant and Postpartum Women aims to enhance the state's capacity to deliver integrated and evidence-based services for substance use disorders and maternal mental health. The initiative focuses on supporting pregnant and postpartum women and their families, ensuring they receive comprehensive care tailored to their unique needs. Funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, this program is a vital step toward improving health outcomes for vulnerable populations.

The Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) program aims to support adults with serious mental illness (SMI) by facilitating community-based treatment.
