Christopher H Knorr Memorial Scholarship

In July of 2022, Chris Knorr unexpectedly passed away. Chris Knorr was a loving father, baseball/softball/basketball coach in the area, an active member of his church, and a friendly face to all in the community. Chris always believed everyone should follow their heart and make an impact in any way possible. Our goal is to raise money for scholarships for South Carroll, Century and Liberty High School that goes to 1 or 2 seniors at each school who is involved in the community and made an impact, and to continue on his legacy.

• Scholarships are one time only.
• The amount of the award will vary based upon the earnings of the fund, minimum $500 per scholarship.
• The money shall be transmitted by the Foundation directly to the desired college or university and applied directly to the student's tuition and books. The monies shall not be remitted to the scholarship winner.

The Marjorie M. Hendricks Environmental Education Scholarship, offered by the Grand Haven Area Community Foundation, supports Tri-Cities area residents pursuing a degree in environmental science. Talbot Democratic Women's Club Scholarship

Awarded to female minority students, graduating from Talbot County Public Schools.

The Believe in Reading Grant, offered by The Steve and Loree Potash Family Foundation, targets established literacy programs with a proven track record. In God We Trust, Mitchelle T. Savage Memorial Scholarship Fund

The In God We Trust, Mitchelle T. Savage Memorial Scholarship was established to provide educational opportunities beyond high school for Battle Creek area graduates or graduating seniors. Eligible recipients will be graduating seniors from Battle Creek area public and private schools who will be attending a college that is a member of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities.

This scholarship has been made possible by the generosity of Mr. Arthur Lederle and the Ludington Area School District, who established the Margaret M. Lederle Ludington Area School District Scholarship of the Community Foundation for Mason County.

This scholarship is presented to a graduating senior of Ludington High School. Recipients are eligible to receive unlimited renewals, based on renewal standards, as long as the student pursues his or her chosen course of study. It is Mr. Lederle's desire that recipients of this scholarship consider giving back to the Fund if and when they find themselves in a position to do so.

The FY26 Military Burn Research Program (MBRP) Technology/Therapeutic Development Award (TTDA) aims to translate promising preclinical findings into burn products for clinical use in challenging environments. This award supports the development of both tangible products, like medical devices, and knowledge products that enhance health outcomes. A new Mentorship Option encourages collaboration between experienced researchers and junior scientists, fostering the next generation of leaders in military burn care research.

The New Britain-Berlin Rotary Club Scholarships, managed by the Community Foundation of Greater New Britain, support graduating seniors from local high schools, including technical schools. Priority is given to INTERACT Club members who demonstrate leadership and community service. This initiative aims to encourage youth to actively engage in their communities and make a positive impact through volunteerism. The Arthritis Foundation is inviting proposals for research aimed at understanding and predicting the progression of rheumatoid arthritis (RA).
