At one half of one percent of the state budget and one half of one percent of the state workforce, the Department of Tourism markets Wisconsin as one of America’s premier travel destinations under the brand name Travel Wisconsin, supporting an industry that makes up more than 7 percent of the state’s gross domestic product.

Why You Should Apply
Wisconsin Department of Justice
The Wisconsin Department of Justice (Wisconsin DOJ) is led by the attorney general, a constitutional officer who is elected by partisan ballot to a four-year term. Public safety is the core of Wisconsin DOJ's mission. The main duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Sexual Assault Victim Services (SAVS) Grant Program
Program Goal
The goal of the SAVS Grant Program is to develop, expand, enhance, and/or support comprehensive sexual assault victim services so they are available to victims of sexual assault regardless of where they reside in Wisconsin.
Core Services
The SAVS legislation provides a brief list of services that award recipients must provide or propose to provide, and statistical information that OCVS is mandated to collect from grantees. Statistical information reflects the core services.
Wisconsin Assessment Monies (WAM) program
Since 2010, the U.S. EPA has awarded the DNR and its partners $5.3 million in brownfield assessment grant funding. The RR Program uses the funding to aid local governments and others in investigating brownfield properties throughout the state.
The Wisconsin Assessment Monies (WAM) program provides funding to address specific brownfields sites where potential or known contamination is acting as an impediment to economic redevelopment. The DNR's Remediation and Redevelopment (RR) Program administers funds through WAM contractor services awards and community managed subgrants.
Contractor services awards
Contractor services awards may include Phase I [exit DNR] and Phase II [exit DNR] environmental site assessments, site investigations and remedial action planning at selected properties. Properties in this program are generally less than 10 acres and have petroleum or hazardous substance contamination.
For contractor services awards, the DNR will assign one of its contractors to perform assessment activities. The contractors were selected through a competitive procurement process completed in 2022 and are currently Bay West, GEI, Ramboll and TRC.
Community-managed services awards
WAM community-managed awards are subgrants to local government or tribal entities. The subgrantee selects a qualified environmental professional and oversees the work. Applicants must ensure a signed site access agreement is in place authorizing the subgrantee and its contractors access to the property to perform the assessment activities.
Department of Tourism
The Department of Tourism markets Wisconsin as a premier travel destination under the Travel Wisconsin brand. We are also home to the Wisconsin Office of Outdoor Recreation, Meet in Wisconsin, Sports Wisconsin, Film Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Arts Board. Together, we uplift a robust tourism economy that enriches the lives of every Wisconsinite.

EMS Leave Behind Program: Fentanyl and Xylazine Test Strip Kits
The Division of Care and Treatment Services is providing fentanyl and xylazine test strip kits kits to Wisconsin EMS agencies operating leave behind programs.
Program overview
Drug checking technologies like fentanyl and xylazine test strip kits are an evidence-based method to prevent drug overdose deaths by educating people about the substances they are using.
Leave behind programs allow EMS professionals to share (“leave behind”) overdose prevention tools and resources with patients and/or their social networks (family, friends, roommates, etc.) at the scene of care or after a hospital transport. Leave behind programs also offer opportunities to provide connections to local treatment providers and overdose prevention organizations. This model presents an opportunity to provide the supplies and support people who use substances need to prevent and reduce health and safety complications.
EMS agencies interested in distributing fentanyl and/or xylazine test strip kits to community members as part of a leave behind program are invited to complete the application form linked in the "solicitation links" section to be considered for this DHS EMS Leave Behind Program.
Applicants accepted into this DHS EMS Leave Behind Program will receive test strip kits at no cost.
FFY 2027 FoodShare Outreach Partner Solicitation
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) relies on its partnerships with state and local agencies, advocates, employers, and community- and faith-based organizations to help conduct outreach to low-income people who are not currently enrolled in FoodShare but may be eligible for the program. Under the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Outreach Program, administrative costs for FoodShare outreach may be eligible for reimbursement at a rate of 25% of the expenditures. Partners are encouraged to submit outreach project proposals to DHS each year for reimbursement consideration under the SNAP Outreach Program.
