Jack & Jean Ereon Scholarship
This scholarship has been made possible by the generosity of the family of Doug Ereon, who established the Jack & Jean Ereon Scholarship Fund of the Community Foundation for Mason County.
Doug Ereon credits scholarships with making his college education possible and leading to a successful career in oil and gas. Inspired by his own experiences and the support of his parents, Jack and Jean Ereon, Doug established this scholarship fund. Jack and Jean were devoted community members; Jack played a key role in developing Ludington's marina, and Jean always encouraged her children to pursue higher education despite financial constraints.
This Fund will support scholarships for graduates of any Mason County High School pursuing a degree or certification at any accredited college, university, or vocational/technical school. The Jack and Jean Ereon Scholarship Fund provides unlimited renewals until education is complete, with the hope that deserving local students can pursue higher education without the burden of mounting debt.

Awarded to a graduating senior of an accredited high school in Minnehaha or Lincoln County in South Dakota.
Workforce Innovation Grant: Healthcare Employment, Access, and Rural Transformation (WIG:HEART)The Workforce Innovation Grant: Healthcare Employment, Access, and Rural Transformation (WIG:HEART) grant program funds competitive grants for innovative projects that develop transformational solutions to workforce challenges that impact the quality and availability of healthcare in Wisconsin's rural regions and communities across Wisconsin. Grants support healthcare industry employers in finding workers and help workers prepare for and connect to better, higher-quality, and more family-sustaining jobs.
The four-year program is scheduled to run from Oct. 30, 2026 to Sept. 30, 2030. The current application is for Year 1 of the grant, which will run from Oct. 30, 2026 to Sept. 30, 2027.

This scholarship is for a student preparing to teach physical science or mathematics in the public secondary schools. The recipient shall be a citizen and resident of Henderson County and shall have graduated from a Henderson County high school. The recipient shall be required to need financial assistance to pursue his or her education at a post-high school institution.
Oncology Nursing Foundation
The mission of the Oncology Nursing Foundation is to support cancer nursing excellence.
Since 1981, the Oncology Nursing Foundation(ONF), through generous contributions from individuals and institutions, has provided more than $33 million in funding to support oncology nursing education, research and leadership development. Clarinet Scholarship & Education Program
The Clarinet Scholarship & Education Program seeks to honor Renna Clarinet Thornton’s philosophy and enthusiasm for education.
After graduating from Coppin State College with her degree in special education in 1972, Renna started her 40-year teaching journey with Baltimore City Public Schools as a science teacher and special educator.
Through the Clarinet Program, the Claude C. Thornton Foundation offers workforce development training, a $1,000 scholarship to collegiate students, as well as parent coaching 1:1s and workshops.

The Clarinet Scholarship provides awardees with unrestricted monetary and mentorship support to empower minority students through their academic journey, ultimately promoting exceptional achievement. Coordinating Care Across Wisconsin: Innovating Healthcare Through Partnership Grants
This five-year grant funding opportunity is intended to catalyze innovative healthcare service models through partnerships across communities, systems, and sectors in rural Wisconsin. Through these grants, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) aims to address those points in a care continuum where community members are most likely to experience barriers to health-related services or fall out of care, and to directly address fragmented systems of care.
