County of Summit ADM Board

The County of Summit ADM Board provides a person-centered approach to prevention, treatment, and recovery. In Summit County, no one walks the recovery journey alone. Together with our partners, we will find a path for anyone who needs the services our system provides.

The County of Summit ADM Board is responsible for planning, funding, monitoring, and evaluating treatment, prevention, and support services for people who experience Substance Use Disorder and/or Mental Health Disorder. The ADM Board does not provide direct services, but it contracts with local agencies to provide quality, affordable services for people at critical times in their lives.

Mini-Grants

This funding is targeted for grass roots efforts in our community to promote overall mental wellness. Please note, this funding is not for traditional treatment, prevention or recovery supports as defined by the Ohio Department of Behavioral Health (Ohio DBH). Priority may be given to programs/events that target ADM Board identified priority populations (LGBTQ+, older adults, African Americans, immigrants/refugees, pregnant women with substance use disorders and families with dependent children impacted with substance use disorders).

Please note the following:

• Completed applications must be received no less than 60 days prior to the proposed event.
• Grants are awarded on a reimbursement basis only.
• Applicants are only eligible for one mini grant per calendar year.
• All requests must receive final approval from the ADM Board’s Board of Directors.

The Carol Ann and Ralph V Haile Jr Foundation Grant aims to enhance the quality of life for residents in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Established by Carol and Ralph Haile, the foundation focuses on funding initiatives in arts and culture, civic engagement, education, and human services. It supports organizations that are tax-exempt and aligns with their mission across ten counties. By fostering collaboration, the foundation seeks to create a vibrant community and drive meaningful change.

The Creag Foundation, established in 2009 in Woodinville, Washington, provides funding to innovative 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations addressing social issues. Focused on smaller organizations, the foundation seeks to support those with unique approaches to improve the human condition. Eligible applicants must have held 501(c)(3) status for at least one year and present a new or previously unaddressed solution to societal challenges. Applications are by invitation only, encouraging creativity and passion in charitable work.

The Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation provides grants to early-stage social entrepreneurs working on scalable solutions to pressing social and environmental issues. By supporting organizations with innovative approaches and proven impact, they aim to uplift underserved communities globally. The foundation offers operational support, funding of up to $300,000 over three years, and fosters a collaborative community among its portfolio organizations. They focus on candidates demonstrating measurable impact and sustainable growth potential.

The McKesson Foundation Grant provides funding up to $25,000 for organizations focused on improving health outcomes in underserved communities. Established in 1943, the foundation prioritizes health equity through strategic partnerships aimed at reducing cancer burdens, preparing healthcare professionals, and enhancing crisis response efforts. Eligible applicants include national and local nonprofits targeting specific regions in the U.S. and Canada. The foundation emphasizes projects that align with its mission and demonstrate significant community impact.

The Michael & Susan Dell Foundation provides grants to organizations focused on improving the lives of children in urban poverty in the U.S., India, and South Africa. They prioritize projects in education, health, and family economic stability. Grants typically do not exceed 25% of a project's budget or 10% of an organization's annual expenses. The foundation seeks to partner with organizations already making an impact, ensuring funding supports impactful social enterprises.

The Semnani Family Foundation, established in 1993, is dedicated to supporting marginalized communities worldwide through health, education, and disaster relief initiatives. Founded by Khosrow and Ghazaleh Semnani, it began by funding an orphanage in Romania. The foundation also operates locally, providing free healthcare through the Maliheh Free Clinic in Utah. Its commitment to human welfare drives impactful partnerships in countries such as Afghanistan, India, and South Africa, focusing on the most vulnerable populations.

The Bank of America Foundation Sponsorship Program aims to enhance economic mobility and social progress in low- and moderate-income communities through partnerships with nonprofit organizations. This initiative focuses on critical areas such as workforce education, basic needs like food and housing, and community development. The Foundation invested $350 million last year and encourages employee volunteerism and giving, supporting nonprofits in various sectors, including arts, culture, and diversity initiatives.

Wells Fargo Community Giving supports nonprofit organizations focusing on financial health, housing affordability, small business growth, and sustainability. The grant cycle runs from February to October, inviting organizations with 501(c)(3) status or equivalent to apply. Funding is prioritized for programs addressing critical community needs, while limited support is available for local initiatives like disaster relief and arts. Organizations must demonstrate fiscal stability and potential impact to be considered for funding.

The Ohio Department of Health and Human Services is seeking qualified Offerors for the Improvement and Wellness Addressing Nicotine Use in Community Health Centers Subrecipient RFP. The initiative aims to enhance tobacco use prevention and cessation efforts within Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC). Selected entities will implement creative, cost-effective strategies to increase provider engagement, improve screening, and facilitate patient access to cessation treatments, ultimately fostering healthier communities.

The Violence Against Women Act Grant Program (VAWA), administered by the Ohio Office of Criminal Justice Services, aims to enhance awareness and response to domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and dating violence. Through funding initiatives from 2022 to 2025, VAWA seeks to foster collaboration among courts, law enforcement, and victim services, establishing a coordinated approach to eliminate violence against women and improve community safety.

The Delta Dental Foundation's Community Mini Grants provide up to $10,000 to local nonprofits promoting oral health care in Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana. These grants focus on enhancing access to dental care for at-risk populations, educating communities about oral health, and supporting innovative programs. Applications are evaluated based on alignment with strategic aims and the ability to achieve impactful results. This initiative seeks to improve community health through dedicated funding and support for effective oral health programs.

The Sam J. Frankino Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for children and families in need through monetary grants for education, health care, and community support. With a focus on initiatives that empower disadvantaged youth and support the Italian-American community, the Foundation aims to foster growth and development in Northeast Ohio. Guided by philanthropic excellence, it seeks to create lasting change through strategic partnerships and innovative programs for social betterment.

The Pat Landi Access Fund aims to enhance local economic development in Butler and Warren Counties, Ohio, by investing in small business initiatives. With funding up to $10,000 per project and an annual budget of $50,000, the fund supports various economic-mission based activities, including direct loans and workforce development programs. By partnering with local organizations, the fund seeks to ensure sustainability and viability of small businesses, fostering a robust economic environment in the region.

The Women's Fund, an initiative of the Wayne County Community Foundation, supports nonprofit organizations in Wayne County, Ohio, focusing on women's education, economic empowerment, and health. Grants are awarded for project, start-up, and capacity-building initiatives that enhance the lives of women and girls. Eligible applicants include tax-exempt nonprofits and government entities. The fund emphasizes collaboration among organizations to maximize impact, while excluding funding for scholarships, capital campaigns, and politically affiliated activities.

Insperity's Corporate Contributions program emphasizes community involvement and corporate citizenship, providing philanthropic grants and event sponsorships to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. Eligible organizations must engage Insperity employees or contribute to the communities where they operate. The program aims to support nonprofits in achieving their service goals and enhancing community welfare. Applications must be submitted 90 days prior to events, and funding requests can be made once a year.

The TJX Foundation Grants support nonprofit organizations located within 15 miles of a TJX store that align with their community mission. Eligible areas include basic needs, education for at-risk youth, workforce training, and safety from domestic violence. Organizations must be a registered 501(c)(3) for at least 12 months and have a nondiscrimination policy. Applications are invited through a Letter of Inquiry, with funding decisions based on community impact.

The NRA Foundation: Ohio Grants provides funding to support charitable projects that promote firearms safety, education, and the shooting sports. Eligible organizations must hold a Federal Employer Identification Number (EIN) and can include non-profits, educational institutions, and government entities. The foundation aims to further its mission by funding activities that benefit the public and align with IRS 501(c)(3) regulations. Ineligible projects include those that do not provide a clear public benefit or are related to fundraising.

The Fifth Third Foundation offers grants to nonprofit organizations in the Greater Cincinnati area, focusing on education, arts, community development, and health services. It aims to enhance community vibrancy and provide opportunities, supporting various funding interests from several benefactors. Eligible organizations must be 501(c)(3) nonprofits operating in Cincinnati, Dayton, or Northern Kentucky. The foundation prioritizes initiatives that empower women, support children, and promote environmental conservation, among other charitable purposes.

Impact100 Cincinnati empowers women to enhance lives in Greater Cincinnati by funding transformative grants focused on culture, education, environment, family, and health. They aim to address community needs with measurable goals, ensuring grants are utilized effectively over 1-3 years. Eligible organizations must be 501(c)(3) charities and align projects with the mission of Impact100. The initiative fosters collaboration while prohibiting funding for operating costs, travel, and faith-based advancements.

The Women’s Giving Circle, part of the Community Foundation for the Ohio Valley, offers grants to enhance the lives of women and girls in specific counties in West Virginia and Ohio. The focus is on increasing life skills, promoting young girls' development, and addressing gender disparities. Grants support innovative and proven programs aimed at systemic change, sustainability, and measurable impact, ultimately fostering empowerment and community growth.

The Integrated Maternal Wellness Pilot Project, initiated by the Ohio Department of Behavioral Health, aims to enhance integrated health care services for pregnant and parenting women struggling with substance use disorders in Northwestern and Western rural Ohio. This initiative seeks applicants to collaborate with a consultant to implement the MATernity Journey framework, focusing on increasing access to care and improving health outcomes for this vulnerable population.

The Ohio Department of Behavioral Health is seeking qualified hospital systems in rural counties to participate in the MATernity Journey: Integrated Maternal Wellness Framework. This initiative aims to enhance integrated care and expand comprehensive health services for pregnant and parenting women in Northwestern and Western Ohio. By partnering with local programs, this project seeks to improve health outcomes and accessibility for this vulnerable population, fostering a supportive environment for maternal wellness.

The ST26 Sexually Transmitted Infection Prevention Continuation Solicitation, administered by the Ohio Department of Health, focuses on reducing sexually transmitted infections (STIs) like chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis. The program utilizes a data-driven public health approach, emphasizing surveillance, routine screening, and community education. By providing no-cost medications and enhancing partner services, ODH aims to improve health outcomes for high-risk populations and mitigate the impact of STIs across Ohio.

The O'Reilly Automotive Foundation Grant focuses on enhancing community welfare through philanthropic initiatives that support economic stability, workforce development, health services, and disaster relief. Established in 2020, the Foundation seeks to empower underrepresented individuals and organizations in the U.S. by addressing vital community needs. It particularly aims to provide assistance to nonprofits that foster positive change and improve quality of life for those in need, ensuring a lasting impact in local communities.
