Marketing to Attract Marquis Events (MTAME) / Marquis Events Grant Program

The 2026 Marquis Events Grant Program was established by Tourism Promotion Fund legislation (Act 109 of 2018) and funded by Section 1934-A(e) of Act 45 of 2025 (P.L. 156, No. 45). This program seeks to promote the Commonwealth as a premium host of large-scale events by providing the funds necessary to secure and execute large-scale events at world-class levels. To accomplish this goal, the Office of Tourism will establish a grant program for entities responsible for hosting major events—such as sports tournaments and series, large-format public festivals, multi-day cultural or sports activations, fan zones, or signature celebrations.

The Sports Marketing and Tourism Account Program, established under Section 1721-A.2 of the Fiscal Code, aims to enhance Pennsylvania's tourism by attracting high-quality amateur and professional sporting events. Grants typically range from $5,000 to $25,000, with larger amounts available for established partnerships.

Visit Bucks County Tourism & Hospitality Scholarship

Provides scholarships to students from Bucks County who are planning to study a major that supports the tourism/hospitality industry and attend an accredited college or university or trade school.

The Tribal Tourism Grant Program (TTGP) aims to enhance Tribal tourism operations by increasing visibility and visitor engagement. Funded by the U.S. Department of the Interior, this program supports projects that address tourism challenges while aligning with the economic goals of Tribal communities. Grants are available for a 24-month project period, focusing on strengthening existing tourism initiatives rather than creating new ones. With technical assistance, selected projects will contribute to community well-being and economic development.

• Three Scholarships for $25,000 each

Native Forward awards are allocated based on the financial aid information provided by the institution’s Financial Aid Office. Awards can vary, ranging from $100 to $30,000 per academic year.

Native Forward Scholars Fund members of federally and state-recognized Tribes as well as first and second-generation descendants. However, Native Forward Scholars Fund scholarship opportunities have different Tribal eligibility requirements and can be determined by submitting a Tribal Eligibility Certificate.

Wells Fargo American Indian Scholarship

The purpose of the Wells Fargo American Indian Scholarship program is to provide financial assistance to eligible American Indian and Alaska Native undergraduate (juniors and seniors) and graduate students pursuing degrees full-time at an accredited institution.

Undergraduate (juniors and seniors) students must be pursuing a degree in the gaming, tourism, financial, or hospitality industries. Graduate students must be pursuing a degree in business or a gaming/hospitality-related field. This includes banking, resort management, gaming operations, or management and administration (including accounting, finance, information technology, and human resources).

The maximum amount of an undergraduate award is $2,500 and the maximum amount of a graduate award is $5,000 per academic year. This opportunity is a need-based award.

The ARISE Grants, offered by the Appalachian Regional Commission, aim to drive regional economic transformation across 13 Appalachian states. With funding of up to $63.5 million for implementation grants and $10 million maximum awards, the initiative supports collaborative projects that enhance community capacity and economic growth. The Harold A. Heist Trust Grant offers financial assistance for projects focused on historical preservation in Crawford County, PA. Eligible organizations must demonstrate a commitment to community needs, measurable outcomes, and collaboration with others. The Trust prioritizes initiatives that serve underserved populations and have long-term sustainability. Organizations must have three years of operational history and adhere to strict non-discrimination policies. This grant aims to support impactful projects that reflect the Trust's mission.

The Bank of America Foundation Sponsorship Program aims to enhance economic mobility and social progress in low- and moderate-income communities through partnerships with nonprofit organizations. This initiative focuses on critical areas such as workforce education, basic needs like food and housing, and community development. The Foundation invested $350 million last year and encourages employee volunteerism and giving, supporting nonprofits in various sectors, including arts, culture, and diversity initiatives.

Key giving areas include hunger relief, housing stability, and community development. Priority is given to organizations with active volunteer engagement from Ameriprise advisors and employees, creating a meaningful impact on financial independence and community resilience.

State Farm's Good Neighbor Citizenship Company Grants aim to enhance community safety, development, and education.
