The Pittsburgh Foundation
Established in 1945, The Pittsburgh Foundation is one of the nation’s oldest community foundations and as of 2022 is the 18th largest of more than 750 similar foundations across the United States.

Scholarships
The Pittsburgh Foundation and The Community Foundation of Westmoreland County provide scholarship opportunities for local students to pursue their educational goals. Scholarships are available for graduating high school seniors, undergraduates, graduate, medical and professional school students who are attending community colleges, four-year universities and career/technical schools.
Eugene "Babe" Fabrizi Fund to Educate Music Students
The Eugene “Babe” Fabrizi Fund to Educate Music Students of The Pittsburgh Foundation was created to support young or adult musicians.
Award Type: Single Year. Previous recipients are encouraged to re-apply in consecutive years.
Community Foundation of the Quincy Area
My Community Foundation (also known as The Community Foundation Serving West Central Illinois & Northeast Missouri) is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving quality of life in the communities it serves by connecting compassionate donors with meaningful causes. The foundation works with individuals, families, businesses, and nonprofit partners to gather charitable contributions, grow those funds through professional investment strategies, and grant the earnings in ways that address local needs now and into the future. Quincy High School Class of 1957 Scholarship Fund
Quincy High School Class of 1957 Scholarship Fund provides scholarship support to graduates of Quincy Senior High School who are pursuing post-secondary education. The fund is intended for Quincy Senior High School graduates enrolling in an accredited four-year college or university. Eligibility and selection criteria are coordinated through the school, and interested students are advised to contact their school guidance counselor for application details. Scholarships are awarded annually in the spring.

The KCPCA Scholarship provides needed financial assistance to support LGBTQ+ students who are resident of Jackson, Clay, Platte or Buchannan counties in Missouri and Johnson, Wyandotte or Douglas counties in Kansas of all background and educational interests. We prioritize LGBTA+ students who need it most and who have some or all of the following experiences:

Kenneth P. Rutter (Rotary) Scholarship Fund
The Kenneth P. Rutter Scholarship Fund was established at The Community Foundation of Westmoreland County to award a scholarship to a traditional or non-traditional applicant residing in Westmoreland County, who has achieved a high school diploma or equivalent including a GED or Home School certificate. Preference will be given to students who seek to enter the Christian Ministry, and/or who have exhibited a strong interest in Community Service and Humanitarian Service.

George & Sharen Borrowman Agriculture Scholarship Fund
George & Sharen Borrowman Agriculture Scholarship Fund supports former students or graduates of John Wood Community College who are continuing their education at an accredited four-year college or university. Eligible applicants must be entering their junior or senior year and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in an agriculture-related field. Application criteria and additional requirements are administered through the school, and interested students should contact their school guidance counselor for guidance. Scholarships are awarded annually in the spring.
Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley
The Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley is a public charitable foundation based in Aurora, Illinois, dedicated to improving quality of life across the Fox River Valley, including the Greater Aurora area and Kane and Kendall counties. The Foundation partners with donors to fulfill philanthropic goals by managing charitable funds and distributing grants and scholarships that address local needs in areas such as education, health and human services, arts and culture, and community development, while ensuring responsible stewardship of resources to create lasting community impact.
Constance K. & Allen J. Kent Scholarship Endowment Fund
The Constance K. & Allen J. Kent Scholarship Endowment Fund was established to provide scholarships for students graduating from public or private high schools within the boundaries of Aurora School District 129 or 131 and also Marmion Academy. Constance Kent, a native Auroran, graduated from Madonna High School and received a bachelor of arts degree from DePaul University in Chicago. She enjoyed a career in marketing and journalism. She also held an Illinois Real Estate License. Mrs. Kent has served on the boards of area organizations including Family Counseling Service, American Association of University Women and YWCA Aurora. In addition, she has been a volunteer at the Dominican Literacy Center. Allen Kent, a native of Jefferson, South Dakota, is a graduate of the College of Pharmacy at South Dakota State University. He was on the pharmacy staff of Provena Mercy Center for many years and retired as director of pharmacy. Mr. Kent also holds a master of science degree in business from Aurora University. He has served on many professional boards, including the Pharmacy Practitioner Panel of The United States Pharmacopeia. He also has volunteered for several community boards including Kiwanis Club of Aurora, Dominican Literacy Center, Provena Fox Knoll, Aurora Public Arts Commission and the Prestbury Citizens Association.

Scholarship eligibility requires students to attend an accredited 2 or 4 year public or private institution of higher learning. All scholarships are for full-time students, unless otherwise noted. Renewable awards are for 4 years of undergraduate study and cannot be used for post graduate coursework; all awards are paid directly to the school or may be used for book reimbursement.
