September 11th Remembrance Scholarship Fund

To support graduating high school seniors who reside in Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden and Hampshire Counties.

The Serena Scholarship Fund, administered by the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts, supports graduating high school seniors from Springfield, Holyoke, Northampton, Amherst, or Greenfield, with a preference for those pursuing careers in addiction and recovery. Students complete one online application, and the Foundation matches them to various scholarships based on their eligibility. Scholarships can cover tuition, fees, and other educational expenses, promoting educational access for students in the region.

Christine Mitus Rose Memorial Scholarship Fund

To support students who have a parent who is deceased; preference for those who have had a parent die from cancer.

The AARP Community Challenge Grant supports projects that enhance community living for residents aged 50 and older. With a focus on immediate improvements and long-term progress, grants range from $10,000 to $25,000, covering areas like public spaces, transportation, and digital literacy. The UNICO Foundation's Ralph J. Torraco Scholarship provides two scholarships of $2,500 each to students pursuing a degree. Open to all ethnicities, applicants must be U.S. citizens, attend an accredited college full-time, and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0. They should continue their studies in the 2026-2027 academic year and may apply if sponsored by a UNICO chapter from specific states. This initiative underscores UNICO's commitment to supporting educational opportunities for deserving students.

Elaine Nicpon Marieb Scholarship Fund

To support women residents of Franklin, Hampden or Hampshire counties attending college.

The Wilcox-Ware Scholarship Fund, managed by the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts, provides financial assistance to graduating seniors from Buckland, Colrain, or Shelburne. Eligible students can utilize the funds to cover tuition, fees, and other educational expenses. The program supports both full-time and part-time students, ensuring access to higher education for those in need. This scholarship is part of a broader initiative aimed at enriching the community by promoting educational opportunities.
