Republic Bank Foundation Scholarship

The Republic Bank Foundation Scholarship was established to provide scholarship assistance in the form of grants to help defray college or university expenses of high school graduates who are dependents of Republic Bank & Trust Company employees. To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must be the dependent of an eligible employee, including a stepchild, an adoptive child, or a child who does not reside with an eligible employee but is a dependent of an eligible employee for federal income tax purposes.

National Council of Jewish Women Scholarship

The National Council of Jewish Women Scholarship was established to provide scholarship assistance in the form of grants to help defray college or university expenses of female students who are of Jewish faith.

The 2027 Continuing Education Grant is made possible by funding from the Grants to States program administered by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).  This grant aligns with Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives' (KDLA) five-year strategic plan to enhance Institutional Capacity to “enhance the knowledge and skills of public library and archival staff through professional development and training opportunities. This grant will only cover conferences taking place between October 1, 2026, and September 30, 2027.  The goal is to provide essential funding to Kentucky's public libraries, enabling them to expand and enhance their staff’s learning opportunities.

Awards shall be disbursed as follows-

• $5000 large libraries (40+ full-time staff)
• $4000 medium libraries (15 – 39 full-time staff)
• $3000 small libraries (6 – 14 full-time staff)
• $2000 very small libraries (1 – 5 full-time staff)

The Raftelis Leadership Scholarship, offered by the American Water Works Association, supports undergraduate and graduate students pursuing a consulting career in water utilities. The Governor’s Awards in the Arts, coordinated by the Kentucky Arts Council, celebrate outstanding contributions to the arts by individuals and organizations in Kentucky. This prestigious program honors exemplary achievements through six distinct award categories. Each year, the Council recognizes artists, educators, and community advocates who have made a significant impact, fostering arts advocacy and cultural growth throughout the state. Applicants are encouraged to embody the core values of the Kentucky Arts Council in their submissions.

Nature's Path's Gardens for Good program empowers communities by funding organic gardens that address food insecurity. Since 2010, it has donated $930,000 CAD to support 120 gardens. In 2023, grants of $6,500 each will be awarded to 20 gardens across the U.S. and Canada. Eligible applicants must be registered non-profits with urban organic agriculture projects that serve low-income communities, promoting sustainable practices and inclusivity.

Project Lead The Way (PLTW) offers grants for schools to implement the PLTW Computer Science program from 2025 to 2028. Grant funds will support Kentucky public library staff in attending library and job-related conferences that foster professional growth, keep them current on national trends, and equip them to implement new services and technologies that benefit their communities. The application will remain open until grant funds are exhausted.

Eligible applicants must have completed at least two years of college and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5. Preference is given to graduates from specific high schools in Missouri. Community Action Fund

A grant for Indigenous frontline organizations, groups, and individuals for direct action initiatives.

The Community Action Fund (CAF) grants support non-violent direct actions and organizing efforts that are often urgent and time sensitive. CAF prioritizes frontline, grassroots and community-based efforts that defend Indigenous peoples rights, communities and Nations.

Community Action Fund Intent

This grant supports Indigenous frontline, grassroots, community-based groups and organizations, Tribes, communities and villages, and individuals leading non-violent direct action or movement-building work in their effort to DEFEND Indigenous People’s rights, and protect their land, air, water, and natural resources.

The Public Health Laboratory Fellowship Program, supported by the Association of Public Health Laboratories, develops future public health scientists through experiential learning in laboratory science. Participants receive training aligned with core competencies and work on impactful projects in various focus areas such as bioinformatics, food safety, and infectious disease. With flexible terms and potential for extension, this fellowship ensures a robust foundation for a career in public health laboratory science.

Impact100 Louisville empowers women through collective giving by awarding substantial grants to local nonprofits focused on transforming lives in Jefferson County, Kentucky. Grants, starting at $100,000, are awarded in key areas such as arts, education, environment, family, and health. The organization emphasizes collaboration and community visibility, ensuring that all finalists benefit from the exposure. Eligible nonprofits must demonstrate sustainability, community support, and have operated under a 501(c)(3) status for at least 24 months.

The Quality of Life Grants Program, established by the Dana Reeve Foundation, supports individuals with disabilities through nonprofit grants. The Tier 3 Priority Impact Grants provide up to $40,000 for projects that enhance accessibility and community engagement for those living with paralysis, particularly in rural, underserved areas.
