Bertha and Addison Bostain, Sr. Scholarship ($2,300)

This renewable scholarship is available to students who will or have graduate from a high school located in Chapin, South Carolina. 

The RFA-FD-23-001 funding opportunity aims to support clinical trials for orphan products targeting rare diseases. It focuses on evaluating the efficacy and safety of treatments to address unmet medical needs. By promoting innovative and collaborative trial designs, the FDA seeks to enhance the approval rates of effective therapies for rare conditions, ultimately benefiting patients and advancing drug development in this critical area.

This funding opportunity aims to enhance the development of medical products in rare diseases through innovative natural history studies. Richard L. Averitte Memorial Scholarship Fund

Established by the Coming Together Project in memory of Richard L. Averitte, who was a music educator with Akron Public Schools for 31 years before becoming the first executive director of the Coming Together Project. The fund provides scholarships to Akron-area seniors who have participated in a music program.

Sonoco Scholarship ($2,500)

This renewable scholarship is for dependents of qualified Sonoco employees of U.S. domestic facilities. 

The K-12 Education Grant Program by the Pulitzer Center invites innovative educational projects that use journalism to engage K-12 students and educators in global health issues. Selected proposals, aiming to impact at least 500 individuals, will be refined through workshops for a chance to secure $1,500 grants for implementation in spring 2026. This renewable scholarship is for members, dependents or grandchildren of members of the South Carolina Arms Collectors Association in good standing for the last three consecutive years.

Eligible students, nominated by university members, receive a $1,000 travel stipend for the program held in New York City from January 8-11, 2026, fostering their academic and professional growth.

The Cushman Scholarship Fund, established by the Maine Community Foundation in 1983, offers renewable scholarships to residents of Hancock County pursuing post-secondary education in medical or Christian education fields. This initiative aims to support local students in their educational endeavors while fostering community growth through strategic giving and leadership. By providing personalized service and understanding local issues, the Maine Community Foundation continues to enhance educational opportunities for those in need.

Drs. Keith and Monica Taylor's Family Scholarship, established in 2021, aims to support qualified African American students facing financial hardships in their pursuit of higher education. This scholarship fund prioritizes those who demonstrate a need for assistance and encourages applicants who have overcome challenges. The Community Foundation of the Lowcountry manages this initiative, ensuring that deserving students receive the financial support necessary to achieve their educational goals.

The Level 3 Housing Opportunity Grants, offered by the National Association of Realtors, support innovative projects aimed at enhancing housing opportunities. These grants are designed for initiatives that involve collaboration with non-REALTOR® partners and require significant REALTOR® involvement. Eligible projects should demonstrate potential for community impact and cannot include activities previously funded by Housing Opportunity grants. This initiative aims to foster growth and diversity within communities.

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation offers the Medical Resident Research Award to engage residents in CF-related research projects. This initiative aims to inspire a lasting interest in cystic fibrosis research or care. Awardees are encouraged to include training on equitable care for individuals with CF, with a maximum award amount of $10,000 for one year. This funding supports research efforts while fostering professional development in the CF community.

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Program for Adult Care Excellence (PACE) aims to enhance adult care for cystic fibrosis patients by recruiting and training physicians. With an increasing life expectancy for CF patients, the program addresses the need for specialized adult caregivers. Physicians can apply for funding up to $38,435 per year for three years, enabling them to develop expertise in adult CF care. This initiative supports both the medical community and the CF population significantly.

We administer a number of scholarships, which range from the traditional academic and athletic awards to corporate and special circumstances offerings. These scholarships are open to all residents of Marshall County, as long as other requirements are met.

Marshall County Farm Bureau Agriculture Scholarship

The purpose of this fund is to provide one or more annual scholarships to any graduating senior or any non-high school senior residing in Marshall County, Indiana entering at least a full-time freshman year of undergraduate studies in an agricultural program or in agricultural classes.

The scholarship recipient must submit proof to the Community Foundation of successful completion of the first semester/trimester in order to receive the scholarship.

This scholarship may be renewable to previous recipients.

The Community Foundation of NCW is a tax-exempt philanthropic organization that helps individuals, families, businesses, and agencies support charitable causes throughout Chelan, Douglas, and Okanogan counties.

Stella Knoebel / Saddlerock Evangelical Presbyterian Church Music Scholarship

Stella Knoebel was a significant part of the music department at First Presbyterian Church of Wenatchee (now called Saddlerock Evangelical Presbyterian Church). To honor her legacy, the church established an endowment fund to provide scholarships to students who are members of the congregation and preference will be given to those who plan to continue their education in the field of music.

The Northeast Michigan Youth Advisory Council (NEMYAC) offers grants for youth-related programs, distributing approximately $50,000 annually from its endowed funds. The council, composed of 50 students from Alcona, Alpena, Montmorency, and Presque Isle counties, promotes community philanthropy and addresses youth needs identified in a triannual assessment. Eligible organizations must be 501(c)(3) non-profits, with a focus on innovative projects that enhance youth wellbeing. Notably, the council prioritizes proposals demonstrating additional funding support.

The Paul Drury Memorial Scholarship honors the legacy of Paul Drury, who inspired many while living with cystic fibrosis. This scholarship is aimed at siblings and children of individuals with CF, recognizing the crucial support family members provide. Eligible applicants must have a family member with CF, demonstrate academic achievement, and be enrolled in an educational program. This initiative highlights the importance of family in managing the challenges posed by cystic fibrosis.

The Jacques Parker and Marie Deguard Scholarship, offered by the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation, supports high school seniors in the region pursuing higher education in visual arts or architecture. Scholarships are renewable for up to five years, covering costs for college, apprenticeships, or specialized courses. This initiative aims to promote economic mobility and provide opportunities for creativity, ensuring a lasting impact on students' lives in Berkshire, Columbia, northeast Dutchess, and northwest Litchfield counties.

Cumberland Community Foundation ("CCF") manages more than 60 scholarship endowment funds created by local individuals, families, civic organizations, and corporations who want to provide a path to higher education for future generations. 

Each year, Cumberland Community Foundation announces more than $1,000,000 in college scholarships to students from southeastern North Carolina.
