Pediatric Fellow Research Projects RFA

The Department of Pediatrics at Indiana University School of Medicine is pleased to announce the availability of grants to support research projects conducted by pediatric clinical fellows in accredited fellowship programs within the sections of the Department of Pediatrics.

Fellow research projects can request funding up to $10,000. Research projects must be feasibly completed within the fellowship period. It is anticipated that five to seven awards will be made.

About Grace B. Etheredge Scholarship for BRCC Students

To support a (Blue Ridge Community College) BRCC student who is planning to attend a four-year college or university. The scholarship recipient should be a student who plans to attend and has been accepted to attend a four-year college. The student should demonstrate scholastic ability (to include a student gifted in the arts), financial need, character, leadership ability, participation in extracurricular activities and demonstrated ability to complete a college education (in order for the scholarship to be renewed, the student must maintain a GPA of 3.0). Other things being equal, preference should be given to scholastic ability.

This scholarship is renewable for 2 years only.

This scholarship is for a graduate of a high school in Henderson County and shall be awarded based on academic standing and financial need. The recipient need not be at the top of his or her class academically nor at the bottom of his or her class financially.

Each year, Petco Love and BOBS® from Skechers® award grants to animal welfare organizations that facilitate these life-changing adoptions. The Rona Jaffe Foundation Fellowship supports emerging women writers with a fully funded 7-month residency at the Fine Arts Work Center. Established by the Rona Jaffe Foundation, it includes a $2,500 prize to assist with travel and living expenses. Eligible candidates must be U.S. residents, at least 18 years old, and not enrolled in a degree program during the fellowship year. ORS/OREF Distinguished Investigator Award

The ORS/OREF Distinguished Investigator Award honors an individual who has significantly contributed to the field of orthopaedic research and to the ORS and the OREF through their outstanding scientific achievements and their commitment of time and service.

A committee comprised of five individuals, including past ORS/OREF Distinguished Investigator Award honorees, established member representatives from the ORS and active OREF volunteers, will each submit a maximum of two nominees to be considered for this award.
