GLCCF Schreck Family Soccer Scholarship

To award annually a scholarship to a qualified applicant who intends to pursue education toward a 4-year college degree.

The Silvio O. Conte Digestive Diseases Research Core Centers (DDRCCs) program invites applications to enhance communication and collaboration among researchers in digestive and liver diseases. Funded by the NIDDK, DDRCCs focus on shared resources that foster productivity and innovative research ideas. Each center must revolve around a central theme aligned with the NIDDK's mission, ensuring effective research support while avoiding overlap with other NIH Institutes' funding areas.

The Hillsdale County Community Foundation offers General Foundation Grants aimed at enhancing the quality of life for residents. These grants support projects in education, fine arts, social services, and more. Eligible applicants include tax-exempt organizations and educational institutions. Priority is given to initiatives that benefit a broad audience and address local issues. The Foundation does not fund religious activities, individuals, or administrative costs. Overall, it seeks creative solutions to community needs.

The Health Careers Scholarship of Sonoma County, administered by 10,000 Degrees, supports students pursuing careers in medicine, nursing, or allied health fields. Established in 2001, it is open to undergraduate and graduate students who are residents of Sonoma County or graduated from its high schools. Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence with a minimum 3.0 GPA and provide two letters of recommendation, excluding relatives. This scholarship is a vital resource for aspiring healthcare professionals in the community.

The Central Montcalm Community Foundation aims to improve the quality of life in the Central Montcalm area by providing grants funded through annual earnings from endowments. The Turtle Trackers - Linda Zambelli Family Scholarship Fund, established in 2025 by the Turtle Trackers Board, honors Linda Zambelli's legacy through scholarships for students pursuing higher education in Marine Biology and Environmental Sciences. This initiative supports high school seniors from Beaufort and Jasper Counties, ensuring they have opportunities to excel academically while fostering a commitment to marine conservation. The fund is managed by the Community Foundation of the Lowcountry, which has invested over $125 million in local communities.

The Sparkplug Foundation Grant supports innovative projects from early-stage organizations and established non-profits in education, community organizing, and music. The foundation emphasizes community-led initiatives that address systemic injustices and engage marginalized populations. Grants are available for one year and prioritize projects with small budgets that lack extensive funding sources. The foundation encourages applications from diverse communities, particularly those led by Black, Indigenous, People of Color, and LGBTQ individuals, fostering equitable access to resources.

AGC Education and Research Foundation

Thanks to visionary volunteer leadership of AGC industry leaders, the AGC Education and Research Foundation, founded in 1968, has for 50 years made good on its commitment to support the future of our industry through its robust scholarship program and innovative projects.

Workforce Development Scholarship

In 2015, the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) and its Build Your Future initiative made a generous contribution to help fund the first Workforce Development scholarships for students pursuing craft and technical programs, allowing 19 applicants to receive the inaugural scholarships. Scholarships are $1,000 per year, renewable for up to two years.

This is the application for the Workforce Development Scholarship. This scholarship is for students pursuing associate degrees, technical training or certificates to enter the construction industry. Please review the Criteria Page to ensure you qualify for the Workforce Development Scholarship. Scholarships are $1,000 per year, renewable for up to two years. The Ray and Sue Barrett Scholarship, offered by the Grand Haven Area Community Foundation, supports high school seniors in the Tri-Cities pursuing higher education in law, criminal justice, mental health, social work, or psychology. Established in honor of Ray and Sue Barrett, who valued education and mental health, this scholarship considers financial need and requires a minimum 2.5 GPA. Applicants must submit transcripts and relevant documents to qualify.

Honda’s Community Event Sponsorship aims to support local, regional, and national events that enhance community engagement and celebrate diverse cultures. Organizations must be U.S.-based and tax-exempt, focusing on projects that serve communities where Honda associates are active. Eligible events include parades, festivals, and educational initiatives. Honda evaluates requests based on community needs and available funding, reinforcing its commitment to social responsibility and community enhancement.

J.B. Hunt Transport Services offers financial support for various community projects through its Company Giving program. Focused on four key areas—Health Care, Veterans' Support, Education, and Crisis Management—this initiative aims to enhance the well-being of local communities. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) organizations, schools, and civic groups, while organizations that primarily benefit their members or have high management overhead may be excluded. The program underscores J.B. Hunt's commitment to corporate social responsibility.

The AES Hawaiʻi Foundation Grant supports communities near AES Hawaiʻi’s renewable energy projects, focusing on social justice, education, environmental stewardship, and community health. Preference is given to nonprofit organizations in these areas, but statewide entities may also apply. Successful projects should align with the Foundation’s impact pillars, demonstrate measurable community benefits, and address unmet needs, ensuring long-term positive effects on the local community.

The VIA Art Fund provides Artistic Production Grants to support innovative artistic commissions for public spaces. These grants, ranging from $25,000 to $100,000, are awarded twice a year to artists and organizations that exemplify artistic excellence and public engagement. Projects must have a confirmed exhibition venue, ensuring artworks reach diverse audiences and foster meaningful community experiences beyond traditional gallery settings.

The PTA Connected: Be Internet Awesome program, sponsored by Google and YouTube, aims to empower elementary and middle schools by providing $1,500 in funding to 50 local PTAs. This initiative fosters engaging discussions among parents about digital safety and well-being, while educating children on responsible online behavior. The program emphasizes the importance of digital citizenship, equipping kids with the necessary skills to navigate the online world confidently.

The OneAmerica Financial Community grant supports 501(c)(3) organizations focused on education, workforce development, safety, wellness, and community vibrancy. With a commitment to making a difference, OneAmerica aims to transform lives through strategic philanthropy. Their initiatives include disaster relief, arts support, and civic engagement, fostering resilient communities. By investing in meaningful change, they build a foundation for shared success across the country, ensuring that community needs are met and future generations thrive.

The Ruth Abernathy Presidential Scholarship is awarded annually by SHAPE America to honor outstanding undergraduate and graduate students in health and physical education. Established in 1995, this scholarship supports three undergraduate and two graduate recipients. Candidates must be SHAPE America members, majoring in relevant fields, and demonstrate academic excellence and leadership. In addition to financial support, recipients receive a three-year membership to SHAPE America, fostering a commitment to health education and physical activity.

The Ruth Abernathy Presidential Scholarship, established by SHAPE America, honors outstanding graduate students in health and physical education. Awarded annually since 1995, it recognizes two graduate recipients based on academic excellence and leadership. Along with financial support, winners receive a three-year SHAPE America membership, enhancing their professional network. This scholarship underscores the organization's commitment to advancing health education and supporting future leaders in the field.

The Hunger to Health Collaboratory (H2HC) 2025 Prizes for Innovation aim to enhance health equity for youth through innovative funding in three categories: Food and Nutrition Policy, Nutrition Education & School Food, and Indigenous Food Justice. Supported by Newman’s Own Foundation, these prizes include $100K grants for policy work and $25K grants for education and justice initiatives. Winners will participate in the H2HC Fall Summit in Boston, fostering collaborative solutions to food challenges.

The Northrop Grumman Corporation Graduate Education Scholarship, part of the Graduate Education Fund, supports Australian students pursuing graduate-level studies in the USA. Offering up to $40,000 for one year, it is aimed at fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Physics, and Aerospace Engineering. Eligible candidates must be Australian citizens or permanent residents and have a formal offer from an accredited American institution. This scholarship promotes academic exchange and fosters international collaboration in specialized disciplines.

The Aspiring Educators CREATE Grants, funded by the National Education Association Staff Organization, offer up to $2000 to strengthen the AE Program and foster impactful partnerships. Grants focus on areas such as Educator Quality, Community Engagement, Political Action, and Social Justice. Eligible organizations include state AE chapters, and submissions are accepted three times a year. This initiative encourages aspiring educators to develop their skills and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

The GCCF Youth Action Council Grant supports projects that directly benefit the residents of Gladwin County, focusing on community improvement across various sectors including arts, education, and health. Grants are available to 501(c)(3) nonprofits and governmental units, with a particular interest in youth-targeted initiatives. Eligible projects must demonstrate sustainability and collaboration, while operating expenses and general organizational support are not funded. This grant aims to foster impactful local programs that address critical needs.

The Diaper Distribution Demonstration Research Pilot (DDDRP), funded by the US Dept. of Health & Human Services, aims to provide essential diaper supplies to low-income families. With $29 million available, the program will evaluate partnerships between community organizations to enhance diaper distribution and improve family health and economic stability. Activities include training, bulk purchasing, and referrals to supportive services, ensuring families receive the resources they need for a better quality of life.

The Marv VandenBosch Scholarship, established by Sandra VandenBosch and her children in memory of Marv VandenBosch, supports Tri-Cities students pursuing careers in criminal justice or law enforcement. This scholarship considers financial need and requires applicants to have a minimum GPA of 2.5. The Grand Haven Area Community Foundation administers the scholarship through a competitive process, ensuring that each applicant is thoroughly reviewed to promote academic achievement and community involvement.

The Fisheries Innovation Fund's Electronic Monitoring and Reporting Grant Program aims to enhance fisheries management through electronic technologies. Administered by the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF), this initiative will support U.S. fisheries in implementing electronic monitoring tools to improve data collection, accessibility, and management. The program is open to various fisheries, including commercial and recreational sectors, promoting sustainable practices and fostering stakeholder involvement for better fishery information systems.

The Rotary Charitable Fund, managed by the Albion Community Foundation, aims to enhance public welfare and cultural, health, youth development, recreational, and environmental initiatives in the greater Albion area. Nonprofits and certain faith institutions can apply for grants up to $3,000. The foundation has a rich history of supporting community projects, having distributed over $3.7 million in grants to date, reinforcing its commitment to improving the quality of life in Albion.

Bucks County Foundation

Our work with local charitable organizations helps to improve the health and wellbeing of children and families across the county.

Millennium Medical Women in Science and Medicine Scholarship

Provides scholarships to students attending high school in Bucks County who are planning to pursue a professional career in a scientific or medical related field such as Pre-Med, Nursing, Biology, Pharmacy, Chemistry, etc.
