Grassroots Voices, led by Vital Voices Global Partnership Inc, empowers young women aged 18-25 in the U.S. engaged in grassroots justice work. This program offers a unique opportunity to join a supportive cohort, travel to Washington, D.C., and engage with influential women leaders. The Gibson Foundation, now known as Gibson Gives, is dedicated to enhancing lives through music by supporting 501(c)(3) organizations. Their mission is to inspire and amplify the power of music through guitars for all generations. With a commitment to music education and wellness, Gibson Gives is making a positive impact worldwide, ensuring that music continues to shape the lives of musicians and enrich communities. Donations are reviewed monthly, requiring a minimum of four weeks for processing.

Coral Gables Community Foundation is honored to partner with our fundholders to administer generous scholarships as well as manage the Foundation’s own scholarship funds.

High-Achieving Four-Year Scholarship

This 4-year scholarship is given annually to students who have demonstrated overall academic achievement and dedication to service within the school and in his/her community, and have low family income. The Foundation also considers applicants’ motivation, financial need, and personal experiences.

Maintenance

In order to maintain the scholarship each year, the recipient must maintain a minimum overall 3.0 GPA throughout his/her college studies.

The Jack Schreder Scholarship Fund honors Jack’s 65 years of work as an educator with strong interest in education, science and vocational training.

He was a graduate of Michigan State (B.A. – Economics), San Francisco State University (M.A. – School Administration) and Stanford University (Ph.D – Education and Business). He began his career as a high school teacher and coach in Michigan.

The Jack Schreder Scholarship will support scholarships to Shasta County graduating seniors pursuing Education, Science, and/or Vocational Training.

Gustafson Fritz Scholarship for Women

An opportunity for female high school graduates in Shasta or Trinity County who demonstrate attributes of generosity, creativity, exemplary work ethic and kindness.

Patricia “Pat” L. Gustafson was an exceptional woman. She was known for her stewardship, generosity, creativity, exemplary work ethic and kindness. Continuing the legacy gifted to her by Pat, her “daughter”, Lynn E. Fritz, the Guftason Fritz Scholarship for Women honors her by awarding support to other women demonstrating like attributes in their journey of self-discovery, empowerment, education and community service.

Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley 

Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley (CFHV) empowers individuals, families, businesses, and organizations to fulfill their philanthropic goals through the establishment of charitable funds that support the needs of Dutchess, Putnam and Ulster counties. With over $100 million in assets, CFHV manages nearly 600 charitable funds and has distributed more than $777 million in grants and scholarships since January 2000. German American Bancorp Scholarship

Annual scholarship created by Peoples Bank, now German American Bancorp, to help Daviess County students pursue advanced education.

Award Amount

• $2,000

Grants focused on the following are of particular interest:

• Cancer interception and the pre-cancer disease state
• Issues relevant to men (including but not limited to prostate cancer, pancreatic cancer, male breast cancer)
• Potential for translation into clinical practice
• Early detection

Grants that demonstrate a potential for translation into clinical practice will be prioritized for funding.
