In 2023, it awarded over $2.8 million in grants, prioritizing youth programs for ages 15-29, arts access for diverse populations, and mental well-being initiatives. The Nita M. This competitive grant program encourages organizations to offer a variety of services, including tutoring, youth development, and family engagement initiatives. Eligible entities include non-profits, schools, and local government agencies, aiming to address the needs of students in low-performing schools.

The Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) Skills USA-Continuation-Year 4 grant program aims to provide statewide leadership for CTSOs, specifically SkillsUSA. This continuation grant, available exclusively to Somerset County Vocational School District, supports initiatives that enhance student competencies and career readiness. The grant period extends from September 1, 2025, to August 31, 2026, with a maximum award of $158,500, fostering leadership skills and realistic career choices among students.
