It is the guiding principle of this scholarship that applicants demonstrate and practice good sportsmanship.

The Patricia Alleva DeHaven Scholarship Fund was established by the late William Thomas “Bill” DeHaven to honor his late wife after her long fight with cancer. Patricia was a biochemist for Merk & Co. while tremendously cooking and feeding anyone who came into her home.
