Abraham D. Chatman Scholarship
Purpose of Scholarship
For members and dependent children of members (current and retired) of local unions affiliated with Rochester Regional Joint Board, Workers United.
Number and Size of Awards
Up to five awards of $8,000 each; paid as $2,000 per year for up to four consecutive years of undergraduate study. Award paid in the Fall and divided equally between the Fall and Spring semesters.
Renewability
This scholarship is renewable up to three times for a total of up to four awards in four consecutive years. Award renewability varies per recipient:
College juniors receive one-time awards that are not renewable.
Tampa Jazz Club
The Tampa Jazz Club was incorporated as a non- profit organization in 1995, with the objective of “generating interest in preserving, understanding and performing jazz.”
Tampa Jazz Club Scholarship
The Tampa Jazz Club is committed to encouraging talented young jazz students and to presenting great live jazz in Tampa.
Since 2003, we have awarded Tampa Jazz Club scholarships to graduating area high school seniors who went on to study jazz performance or education. To date, we have awarded $24,750 to 22 graduates.
The Thoracic Surgery Foundation
The Thoracic Surgery Foundation is the premier philanthropic organization in cardiothoracic surgery, with nearly four decades of dedicated investment in the work of cardiothoracic surgeons and professionals. TSF is committed to improving patient care through support for research, education, innovation, and humanitarian outreach, aiming to advance heart and lung health for all.
As the charitable heart of The Society of Thoracic Surgeons, TSF collaborates globally to drive progress in cardiothoracic surgery. Through the efforts of TSF and its worldwide partners, patients with heart and lung disease experience improved longevity and a high quality of life.
STS Perioperative & Critical Care Conference Resident Scholarship
Purpose
This Resident Scholarship allows CT surgery residents to attend the STS Perioperative & Critical Care Conference. The scholarship covers course registration fees, two nights' lodging at the host hotel, and and expense reimbursement of eligible travel expenses.
Course Description
Attendees of the 2026 STS Perioperative & Critical Care Conference will explore the latest techniques and management strategies in cardiovascular and thoracic (CVT) critical care and enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS). This two-day event features dynamic and interactive presentations, hands-on demonstrations, scientific abstracts, and expert panel discussions designed for all members of the CVT perioperative and critical care team. At the Community Foundation of Noble County we are passionate about making Noble County an even better place to call home. Since 1991, area residents have been turning to the Community Foundation of Noble County to make their philanthropic giving as effective as possible, as we see it as our mission to serve as a catalyst for positive change. The Community Foundation of Noble County is a public charity 501 (c) 3 entity.
As a group of invested community members, we identify local current and emerging issues and stimulate resources to address those needs, helping our region prepare for the future. We then leverage gifts and bequests from generous donors like you to drive positive change through grants in such areas as arts and culture, education, health and human services, civic affairs and other charitable areas of interest.

A $1,000 one-time payment awarded to the top 3 high school seniors who live in Noble County currently enrolled in Central Noble, Churubusco, East Noble, and West Noble who has shown strong community involvement, has been active in various volunteer committees, and has participated in any school-sponsored sports all four years of high school.
Glass, Paul Memorial Scholarship Fund
A one-time payment for a high school senior or undergraduate college student from Noble County who is pursuing a career in agriculture related field. Awards $750 one time. Students can reapply.

Awards $3,500 one-time.

Noble County Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Noble County Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 2007 by the board of directors of the Community Foundation of Noble County for the purpose of allowing Noble County residents the opportunity to memorialize a friend, family, or loved one without creating a named endowment fund where the minimum is much larger than the $1,000 minimum for this fund.
