Restoration Grants
Restoration grants are for watershed projects that protect or restore watershed functions.
Eligible Restoration Projects by Habitat and Activity
The list of eligible project types below is not an exhaustive list.
The Land and Water Conservation Fund State Assistance program was established by the LWCF Act of 1965 (Section 6, Land and Water Conservation Fund Act of 1965, as amended; Public Law 88-578; 16 U.S.C 4601-4 et seq.) to stimulate a nationwide action program to assist in preserving, developing, and assuring to all citizens of the United States of present and future generations such quality and quantity of outdoor recreation resources as may be available and are necessary and desirable for individual active participation. The LWCF State Assistance Program provides matching grants to States, and through the States to local governments, for the acquisition and development of public outdoor recreation areas and facilities. The Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) is intended to create and maintain a nationwide legacy of high-quality recreation areas and facilities and to stimulate non-federal investments in the protection and maintenance of recreation resources across the United States.
Transportation and Growth Management (TGM) Grants help local jurisdictions plan for transportation systems and land use patterns that create livable, sustainable, and economically vital communities. The resulting plans increase opportunities for transit, walking and bicycling. TGM awards grants in two categories:
NRCS Farm Bill Technical Assistance Grant Program
The goal of this grant program is to provide funding for technical assistance (TA) to help implement local Farm Bill conservation programs. The Farm Bill has generated more need for technical assistance than the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) can provide to landowners. The Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board (OWEB) in partnership with NRCS seeks to award funding to partners to provide technical assistance for local conservation efforts.

Andersen Construction Foundation
Established in 2015, our Foundation was created to intentionally steward and grow our commitment to community service. From the beginning, an endowment was formed to ensure meaningful, sustained giving for the long term. Guided by the belief that service is part of who we are, we have contributed volunteer time, funding, and resources to community organizations and build projects in the places we call home—including Portland, Eugene, Seattle, and Boise—as well as through hands-on initiatives across the country and internationally.
As our organization has grown, our approach to giving back has grown with it. The Foundation now provides a central way for employees across our family of businesses to engage in philanthropy and volunteer efforts. Through this structure, we continue to support the communities where we live and work, reinforcing a long-standing commitment to service.
Andersen Foundation Grant
We fund build-related projects and sponsor community events in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. Applications for project grants and event sponsorships are accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed by our local giving committees.
Grants are awarded in the $2,500-$10,000 range for construction repairs and infrastructure needs. Applicants must have 501(c)3 status.
Oregon Housing and Community Services

Our intentional focus on housing and community services allows the agency to serve Oregonians across the housing continuum, including preventing homelessness, providing housing stability supports, financing the building and preservation of affordable housing, and encouraging homeownership.
Youth Emergency Housing Assistance (YEHA) Program
The Youth Emergency Housing Assistance (YEHA) program provides funding to organizations dedicated to supporting K-12 students and their families who are unhoused or facing the risk of homelessness.
The program aims to provide housing-focused services to school-age children and their families to enhance family stability and school success. These services can include (but are not limited to):
This program also aims to establish and promote intentional collaboration between the local education system and housing providers to build a comprehensive family support network and optimize the funding’s impact.
