These grants focus on programs that promote safety, stability, and self-sufficiency, including initiatives supporting domestic violence recovery, foster care, the working poor, and animal welfare. Foundation support strengthens the social fabric of communities and expands access to essential resources for those in need. Through these efforts, the Foundation helps build stronger, more compassionate communities where individuals and families can thrive.

This scholarship is awarded to a graduating female from Scranton or West Scranton High School who is a resident of Lackawanna County.

Women who are unemployed or under-employed pursuing post-high school education can receive multiyear tuition and college expense support through Kalamazoo Community Foundation’s Women's Education Coalition Grant. This scholarship serves residents of Allegan, Barry, Calhoun, Kalamazoo, St. Joseph, or Van Buren County and may benefit women-focused programs similar to those in Florida.

Women students pursuing two- or four-year degrees who need scholarship support may be eligible for this program, which serves several U.S. counties. Grants from Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts help women from Hampden County, age 19 and older, with up to US $3,000 toward tuition, fees, room and board, and related educational costs.

Women-led organizations across the U.S. and territories working in education, child welfare, community development, or volunteerism may be recognized and gain mentorship and national visibility.

Women returning to the workforce who are survivors of domestic violence and Washington state residents may be eligible for scholarships supporting education and training, including those working with women’s programs in Florida. Community Foundation for Southwest Washington provides US $1,000 - US $4,000 through the YWCA Clark County Chan Barnett Scholarship to help recipients become employable and self-sufficient.

Female high school seniors in Erie, Huron, or Ottawa Counties in Ohio planning to study STEM or medical fields can apply for the Zonta Club of Greater Sandusky High School STEM Scholarship Fund from Erie County Community Foundation. This scholarship supports women pursuing degrees at accredited nonprofit colleges, universities, community colleges, or vocational schools in the U.S.

Female adult students pursuing undergraduate or vocational education who have resumed studies after an interruption may be eligible for this scholarship, especially those focused on women and girl services. With a mission to strengthen communities, Erie County Community Foundation supports nontraditional female students from select Ohio counties through the Zonta Club of Greater Sandusky Nontraditional Students Scholarship Fund.

Female high school seniors pursuing an undergraduate degree and interested in scholarship support can apply for this opportunity, which considers financial need and academic achievement.
