Nonprofit organizations seeking assistance must be 501(c)(3) certified and focus on monetary requests. Applications are reviewed within 4-6 weeks, factoring in community needs and collaboration. However, Costco limits grants to 10% of the program budget and typically restricts organizations to one request per fiscal year. They do not fund individuals or direct aid for various specific purposes.

The Creag Foundation, established in 2009 in Woodinville, Washington, provides funding to innovative 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations addressing social issues. Focused on smaller organizations, the foundation seeks to support those with unique approaches to improve the human condition. Eligible applicants must have held 501(c)(3) status for at least one year and present a new or previously unaddressed solution to societal challenges. Applications are by invitation only, encouraging creativity and passion in charitable work.

The DanPaul Foundation aims to enhance early childhood development by training teachers and parents, protecting children from abuse, and promoting social responsibility. First Fidelity Bank & Tripp County Community Foundation Grant

The First Fidelity Bank/Tripp County Community Foundation operates under the guidelines of the South Dakota Community Foundation and was set up to encourage philanthropy in Tripp County. 

The following criteria are areas of importance to the Tripp County Community Foundation in awarding grants in Tripp County.

• Volunteerism: Projects that involve significant and continuous volunteer support will be considered more favorably over projects with paid staff.
• Matching Funds: The Tripp County Community Foundation should not be the sole source of financial support for any project and may make awards contingent on proof that there are other sources of funding. The grant may also be in the form of a challenge to be met dollar-for-dollar by other sources.
• Non-Discrimination: Applications from organizations offering services exclusively to one gender, age group or race will be closely scrutinized for discriminatory practices. Funding will be based on the needs of the individuals being served.
• Fund Distribution: Grants will be awarded by the Tripp County Community Foundation Board of Directors based on their evaluation of the applications that are submitted.
• Seed Grants: Start-up funds will be looked upon favorably if there is supporting evidence indicating a need for the project, support for the project, and ongoing probability of its success.
• Technical Assistance: Consultants will be funded if they are integrally related to accomplishing the project’s objectives.
• Public vs. Private: The Tripp County Community Foundation Board of Directors will concentrate on funding public, nonprofit organizations, but not to the exclusion of organizations that meet the grant guidelines.

The Global Impact Cash Grants by Cisco Systems Foundation support innovative early-stage solutions aimed at addressing significant social problems. Grants must be utilized within the United States and cannot be awarded to individuals, political candidates, or lobbying efforts. The Trust is dedicated to enhancing the general welfare through soundly-managed initiatives that contribute significantly to community needs.

Funding is prioritized for programs addressing critical community needs, while limited support is available for local initiatives like disaster relief and arts. Organizations must demonstrate fiscal stability and potential impact to be considered for funding.

The Gupta Family Foundation Grant aims to empower disadvantaged individuals by providing financial support to organizations that foster self-reliance. Headquartered in Herndon, Virginia, the foundation offers grants ranging from $5,000 to over $250,000, prioritizing smaller organizations with a strong commitment to their missions. Eligibility typically includes US-based IRS 501(c)(3) entities, with operations extending to countries like India and Kenya. The foundation emphasizes mission alignment and effective resource allocation to ensure maximum impact.

The J.W. Couch Foundation Grant focuses on supporting Wildlife Conservation nonprofit organizations that align with their mission of community betterment and environmental protection. The foundation seeks partnerships with organizations that promote animal wellbeing, early childhood education, teacher support, and outdoor activities. Eligible applicants must be registered 501(c)3 nonprofits or for-profit entities aligned with their charitable programs. The Hansen Family Foundation Grant seeks to empower organizations that uphold the American values of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Established in 2020, the Foundation seeks to empower underrepresented individuals and organizations in the U.S. by addressing vital community needs. It particularly aims to provide assistance to nonprofits that foster positive change and improve quality of life for those in need, ensuring a lasting impact in local communities.

The True Inspiration Awards, established by Chick-fil-A in 2015, recognizes nonprofit organizations that significantly impact their communities. In 2025, the program will distribute $6 million in grants, ranging from $30,000 to $350,000, to sixteen selected organizations. Categories include Caring for People, Caring through Food, Community, and Caring for our Planet, with a focus on educational initiatives, food security, housing services, and environmental stewardship, honoring the legacy of founder S. Truett Cathy.
