The FEF-HCS series is funded in partnership with Key Bank and HSBC, and targets communities within the Key Bank and HSBC branch footprints.

Through these partnerships, $2.5 million in Key Bank geographies and $1.5 million in HSBC geographies has been allocated for the subgrants for direct-to-client housing counseling services that will be awarded in three rounds in the FEF-HCS track.

With an annual budget of $860,000, the grant aims to fund up to 20 schools and conferences each year. Eligible applicants must be active Division II members and are encouraged to collaborate with their human resources departments during the proposal process, ensuring compliance with grant requirements.

The Youth Leadership Council Grant, offered by the Yakima Valley Community Foundation, empowers high school students to drive positive change through philanthropy and leadership. This unique program trains a diverse cohort of youth on topics like equity and community needs, allowing them to distribute $50,000-$100,000 annually to impactful projects. Focus areas include health equity, support for immigrant communities, and educational opportunities. Eligible organizations must serve Yakima County or the Yakama Nation and meet specific criteria.

The Snoqualmie Tribal Organization Grant for Habitat Restoration offers up to $50,000 to nonprofit organizations in Washington State focused on restoring habitat for fish and wildlife. Since 2010, the Snoqualmie Tribe has contributed over $8 million to various nonprofits. Eligible applicants must be IRS-registered 501(c)(3) organizations located in Washington State, ensuring support for local community initiatives aimed at environmental preservation.

The Anderson-Rogers Foundation Grant supports U.S.-based 501(c)(3) organizations focused on environmental protection, animal welfare, climate change mitigation, and social support. Established in 2001, this family foundation prioritizes innovative projects and general operating support for small organizations facing financial constraints. Note that applicants must first submit a letter of inquiry, as the foundation does not fund scholarships or grants to individuals or religious organizations, nor does it support organizations outside the U.S.

The Asian Cultural Council's New York Fellowship offers a transformative six-month program for artists, scholars, and arts professionals from Asia. Utilizing a participatory grantmaking approach, an advisory panel of community leaders reviews applications to ensure impactful projects are prioritized. Since inception, two-thirds of awards have gone to BIPOC-led organizations, reflecting a commitment to statewide equity in civil justice access.

Andersen Construction Foundation

Andersen Foundation Grant

We fund build-related projects and sponsor community events in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. Applications for project grants and event sponsorships are accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed by our local giving committees. 

Grants are awarded in the $2,500-$10,000 range for construction repairs and infrastructure needs. Applicants must have 501(c)3 status.

The TBF: Teen Pregnancy Prevention program offers financial support to 501(c)(3) organizations in Washington and Oregon focused on reducing teen pregnancy. Eligible projects must utilize evidence-based methods and can include health education initiatives and community clinic services. The program encourages applications from organizations with a clear budget and success criteria, emphasizing the need for innovative solutions to this critical issue.

Funded by the Washington State Legislature, the Diversity in Local History (DLH) program awards grants for paid internships that support inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility (IDEA) initiatives at heritage organizations that increase the stories they tell and the communities they serve.Through a competitive process, the Washington State Historical Society provides grants up to $25,000 for projects that partner emerging professionals in the heritage sector with local history museums and historical societies. This program creates opportunities for emerging professionals to connect with history organizations and to support work that helps those organizations better serve all members of their community.

The Western Society of Malacologists offers Student Research Grants in Malacology to support research in the study of mollusks. Grants of up to $1000 are available for full-time students engaged in relevant projects. Applicants from all countries are welcome, with no citizenship restrictions. This initiative encourages students to present their findings at WSM meetings, promoting academic growth and collaboration within the malacological community.
