The Graduate Professional Advancement Grant at Montana State University provides funding for graduate students in their 3rd semester or higher to present at professional conferences. This grant encourages scholarly research and supports students by covering travel costs, up to $750. Applications are reviewed monthly on a first-come, first-serve basis, and funding is limited based on availability. Students must be in good standing and have their committee on file to be eligible.

Community Foundation of Henderson County was incorporated in 1982 by a group of fourteen dedicated and compassionate local leaders with the immediate need to manage two funds - the William C. This scholarship has been made possible by the generosity of Tamar Schoenberg, who established the Marlene Schoenberger Scholarship Fund of the Community Foundation for Mason County in memory of her mother, Marlene. This scholarship is presented to Mason County students pursuing Fine Arts and Performing Arts.

The George W. Mallinckrodt Fellowship at Harvard Kennedy School supports MC/MPA students who demonstrate courage, vision, and a strong commitment to ethics and good governance. This fellowship is aimed at individuals who aspire to improve public policy and leadership, contributing to a just and sustainable society. It is based on merit and financial need, without discrimination based on citizenship or other protected classifications. Applications are accepted after admission applications are submitted.

Marshall High School Scholarship

The Alison Shuemake Scholarship is for a Marshall High School senior and graduates pursing an academic or technical degree or certification.

Applications are open year-round. After we receive all application requirements, we internally review applications and make decisions within two weeks of receipt. An email will be sent to the applicant to complete follow up requirements.

Scholarship payments are sent directly to the school.

Students must be a resident of Western North Carolina that include, but not limited to, graduating seniors, current college students, and returning adult education students who are focused on a career and technical education field. Oncology Nursing Foundation

The mission of the Oncology Nursing Foundation is to support cancer nursing excellence.

Since 1981, the Oncology Nursing Foundation(ONF), through generous contributions from individuals and institutions, has provided more than $33 million in funding to support oncology nursing education, research and leadership development. Rick Chapman Legacy League Scholarship

This scholarship has been made possible by the generosity of the Rick Chapman Legacy League, created in memory of Rick, a beloved local entrepreneur who owned and operated Chuck Wagon Pizza in Ludington, Michigan, for many years.

Inspired by Rick's own path of starting his business at a young age, the scholarship supports students who are pursuing business education and entrepreneurship with the hope that recipients will eventually live and work in Mason County. The scholarship fund is administered by the Rick Chapman Legacy League Board, composed of Rick's high school friends who would visit Rick at Chuck Wagon when in town, longtime customers and neighbors from the community, and an overall eclectic mix of people from different walks of life that Rick welcomed. The board and several other Rick Chapman friends and fans host an annual golf outing near Rick's birthday in August to raise money for scholarships. Entry fees, sponsorships, and a silent auction contribute to the scholarship fund. The Rick Chapman Legacy League Scholarship honors Rick’s memory and commitment to fostering entrepreneurship. By investing in local students, the Legacy League hopes to inspire students to follow in Rick's footsteps, contributing to the vibrancy of the Mason County community.

The Mabel M. Witmer Scholarship Fund, managed by The Foundation for Enhancing Communities, supports students pursuing education in trade or technical schools. Thomas Thompson, a Ludington Area Schools alumnus, created a scholarship fund in his family's name because many of his family members have received scholarships over the years. Because of his first-hand knowledge of the difference financial support for college meant, he wanted to share the good feeling of making a difference for future generations. "It is one of the things I wanted to do in my life," said Thomas.

The College Life Protected Graduate Research Grant supports research that enhances the value of higher education. Focused on systemic risks, it invites proposals on topics like mental health's impact on student success, campus safety compliance, and the effects of medical withdrawals. The grant is open to individuals in postsecondary education, who can re-apply regardless of prior submissions, promoting continued exploration of these critical issues.

The Walters Services, Inc. Fabe & Beverly Walters Scholarship Fund, established by The Foundation for Enhancing Communities, aims to alleviate the financial burden of higher education for children and spouses of employees under 26. This scholarship supports full-time or part-time students, emphasizing academic achievement, community volunteerism, financial need, and an essay submission. The initiative embodies core values of love, integrity, and teamwork, fostering educational opportunities for future generations.

The Foundation awards scholarships to high school seniors in Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne’s and Talbot Counties, who are planning to attend a college, university, or trade school. There is one scholarship that is available to students in Cecil County. 

Talbot Democratic Women's Club Scholarship

The Glenn D. and Bennie Lou Hammons Family Scholarship, established by the Central Kentucky Community Foundation in 1960, supports residents of Hardin County with a GPA between 2.5 to 3.5. The Dave Smith Scholarship Fund benefits graduating seniors who attend public high schools in Napa County and Napa Valley College students who plan to pursue an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, computer science or music at a community college or four-year college/university. Recipients will receive funding for up to four years of undergraduate study.
