By investing in these key areas, The Andersons seeks to foster environments where individuals and families can thrive, ensuring a sustainable and vibrant future for all residents in the regions they serve.

The Bradley-Turner Foundation Grant focuses on supporting initiatives in Columbus, Georgia, and the Chattahoochee Valley. With an average grant size of $50,000, it funds strategic capital campaigns, scholarships for students in need, and community initiatives tackling systemic challenges. The foundation prioritizes partnerships and considers requests tied to broader programs. However, it does not support annual funds, personal loans, or organizations lacking 501(c)3 status, aiming instead for impactful, one-time gifts.

The Yellowstone Club Community Foundation offers sponsorships to support events and causes within the greater Big Sky region. With over $36 million awarded since 2010, the Foundation aims to address community needs through grants and collaborative efforts. Organizations eligible for funding must provide services in this area, although current grant partners are excluded from sponsorship opportunities. Requests are considered monthly, so applicants should plan ahead.

The RI Beacon Foundation Grant aims to enhance community welfare by supporting U.S.-based 501(c)(3) organizations primarily in Rhode Island. The Foundation seeks to promote goodwill, sponsor impactful initiatives, and foster partnerships through donations and volunteerism. By focusing on health, education, and civic causes, it endeavors to create a significant positive impact within the community while maintaining a commitment to inclusivity and non-discrimination.

The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving has launched the $100,000 Greater Together Community Fund Grant for Newington. This initiative aims to empower local communities by fostering ownership of their needs, promoting inclusive civic engagement, and strengthening the Foundation's presence in towns. Eligible applicants include any 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving West Hartford residents, regardless of their base. The GTCF Committee will facilitate a process to identify community needs and ensure impactful grantmaking.

The Opportunity Endowment Fund, managed by the East Tennessee Foundation, aims to enhance the effectiveness and sustainability of nonprofit organizations across a 25-county service area. Grants of up to $25,000 support collaborative projects focused on improving operational systems, fostering partnerships, and addressing community needs. Projects that demonstrate collective impact and leverage matching funds are prioritized, particularly those that tackle adverse childhood experiences and enhance early childhood education.

The Southeastern Illinois Community Foundation's Jasper County Community Endowment supports charitable initiatives that enhance the quality of life in Jasper County, Illinois. By investing in local projects, the foundation aims to cultivate a culture of philanthropy and strengthen community ties. Organizations seeking funding must be tax-exempt public charities serving the area and possess a clear charitable purpose. This endowment exemplifies a commitment to sustainable community development and long-term philanthropic impact.

The Elkins Grant, offered by The Elkins Foundation, aims to enhance the quality of life in Houston and the Greater Gulf Coast through support for diverse educational, healthcare, cultural, community, and religious organizations. Applications are accepted from January to June, with funding decisions made by October 31. The foundation prioritizes specific capital projects and does not typically fund the same organizations annually, ensuring a broad impact across the region.

The Virginia McKnight Binger Heart of Community Honor, presented by The McKnight Foundation, recognizes seven unsung champions from Minnesota for their remarkable contributions to local communities. Each honoree receives a $10,000 award in acknowledgment of their impactful work, fostering compassion and connectivity. This honor celebrates the legacy of Virginia McKnight Binger, emphasizing the importance of inclusivity, creativity, and community engagement in building a better future for all Minnesotans.

The Comer Education Grant, established by the Comer Foundation in 1946, has allocated over $34.6 million to support educational initiatives in Alabama. Rooted in the legacy of Governor Braxton Bragg Comer, the foundation prioritizes scholarships and community improvements, particularly in areas where Avondale Mills operated. This commitment to education and social betterment reflects the family's dedication to enhancing the quality of life and opportunities for residents in Jefferson, Talladega, and Barbour Counties.

Community Impact Grants

Community Impact Grants provide support to nonprofits working to address the needs of under-resourced individuals, families, and communities in our regional footprint.

Our Community Impact Grant opportunity is focused serving children, families, and communities most impacted by poverty. In 2026, there will be one cycle to apply. Eligible nonprofits in our region may apply for unrestricted funding. If you have received funding through the Summer Initiatives grant, you still may apply for Community Impact Grants. If you have received a 2025 multi-year award, you will not be eligible to apply in 2026.

Funding considerations will prioritize requests that address under-resourced populations in our region such as children and adolescents, low-income seniors, returning citizens, immigrants, victims of domestic abuse, and others.

The Big Nova Grant supports Central Florida organizations dedicated to impactful community initiatives. The foundation invites proposals that align with its mission, particularly in wildlife conservation, patient support, and uplifting the less fortunate. With ongoing funding decisions, projects demonstrating significant potential and innovation are prioritized. Eligibility requires a minimum of two years of operation in the region, with an emphasis on collaborative efforts for meaningful change. Join us in making a difference through your ideas.

ETC's Community Betterment Committee Funding Grant provides financial support to non-profit organizations across the United States. Established in 1975, ETC focuses on fostering community initiatives by awarding grants up to $5,000 semi-annually. The selection process is conducted by a committee of employee volunteers, ensuring that funds are allocated to a variety of deserving causes. This initiative reflects ETC's commitment to enhancing community welfare and supporting local initiatives.

The WAHHI Charitable Fund, established in 2016, supports local nonprofits in the Lowcountry by funding projects that align with its mission to foster community communication and enhance cultural beauty. Grants, capped at $7,500, aim to address unmet needs and create lasting positive change. Eligible organizations must hold 501(c)(3) status and serve the designated geographical area, ensuring that the funding effectively bolsters community-driven initiatives.

Envista Credit Union is dedicated to supporting local nonprofits through its donation requests program. The Community Impact Committee reviews applications monthly, focusing on meaningful contributions that strengthen community ties. Envista aims to inspire and lead by fostering collective efforts for positive change. However, donations are selective and will not be provided for administrative expenses, political causes, or individual benefits. The goal is to uplift the community as a whole, reflecting Envista's commitment to social responsibility.

The Glencoe Area Community Foundation Grant supports projects that provide long-term benefits to the Glencoe community. It emphasizes economic development, health and wellness, and addressing underserved needs. Grants range from $500 to $2,000 and are available to 501(c)(3) organizations and public agencies. The foundation aims to create a lasting legacy through donor-supported initiatives that enhance the quality of life in the area.

The City of Franklin Nonprofit Funding Program supports local nonprofit organizations by providing funding to enhance their community impact. Eligible organizations, including 501C3, 501C6, and 501C4 entities, can apply for allocations to promote the welfare of Franklin residents and create job opportunities. The program emphasizes compliance with state regulations and non-discrimination principles, ensuring fair access to funds for all qualified applicants.

The Triple Crown Initiative by Brandito aims to support local non-profits in Richmond and surrounding areas through significant grants and promotional merchandise. With awards of up to $15,000 and additional merchandise credits, this initiative empowers organizations aligned with Brandito's mission. Eligible applicants must be registered 501(c)(3) entities that demonstrate a commitment to community service. This initiative reflects Brandito's dedication to quality, innovation, and social responsibility, fostering positive change in the communities they serve.

The Northern Lowcountry Grants - HOME Community Fund is a competitive grant program designed to support organizations in Berkeley, Charleston, Dorchester, and Georgetown counties. Created by Home Telecom in 2002, the fund encourages applications for general operating support from nonprofits in these areas. An advisory committee, led by Home Telecom employees, reviews applications to make award selections. The next application deadline is June 1 or the following business day.

The Frances Abbot Burton Powers Endowment Grant, managed by the North Carolina Community Foundation, supports government entities and nonprofits benefiting Henderson, NC. Established in memory of Frances Abbot Burton Powers, the fund has awarded over $170,000 since 2014. Eligible organizations must offer programs without discrimination and serve counties within the affiliate network. The fund does not support capital campaigns, political lobbying, or religious activities, ensuring a focus on community welfare.

The Morrisville Community Fund Grant, established by the North Carolina Community Foundation in 2011, supports qualified charitable organizations that address community needs in Morrisville. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) nonprofits, local governments, and faith-based organizations for outreach programs. The grant does not fund political activities, general operating support for religious entities, or individual benefits. This initiative emphasizes inclusivity and aims to foster lasting contributions to the community.

Purpose of AmeriCorps State and National Funding

AmeriCorps improves lives, strengthens communities, and fosters civic engagement through service and volunteering. AmeriCorps brings people together to tackle some of the country’s most pressing challenges through national service and volunteerism. AmeriCorps members serve with organizations dedicated to the improvement of communities and those serving.

AmeriCorps grants are awarded to eligible organizations that engage AmeriCorps members in evidence-based or evidence-informed interventions to strengthen communities. An AmeriCorps member is a person who does community service through AmeriCorps.

2025-2026 AmeriCorps Formula Grant Opportunity

As the AmeriCorps State Service Commission in Oregon, OregonServes (OSC) administers state AmeriCorps Program Grants. The AmeriCorps Formula Funding Grant Opportunity is funded through OSC’s AmeriCorps State Formula Funding Allocation and provides grant funding for two types of AmeriCorps program models: (i) Formula Cost-Reimbursement Grants and (ii) Formula Fixed Amount Grants. These grants are awarded to organizations that propose to place AmeriCorps members in service solely within Oregon.

• New AmeriCorps State Formula Grant Applications
  • New Applicants may apply for a new three-year award under this RFA (Cost Reimbursement only, new programs are not eligible for Fixed Amount Grants).
• Continuation AmeriCorps State Formula Grant Applications
  • Organizations that have current AmeriCorps awards that do not end in the 2025-26 program year must submit a continuation Application to be eligible to receive funding for the following year.
• Recompeting AmeriCorps State Formula Grant Applications
  • Current OSC-funded programs with a three-year funding cycle that ends in the 2025-26 program year are considered to be in “recompete” status. These Applicants may apply for a new three-year award under this RFA. 

Women Investing in Nebraska (WIN) provides grants to innovative projects that address urgent needs in Nebraska. Since 2011, WIN has awarded over $1.9 million to various initiatives through a member-driven process. Each fall, two grants are given, one to a University of Nebraska project and another to a nonprofit. Eligible applicants include Nebraska nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status and university departments, focusing on bold solutions to pressing issues.

Zia Credit Union is dedicated to supporting community initiatives through donations, sponsorships, and event participation. They prioritize charitable causes that benefit non-profit organizations, particularly in the Los Alamos, Rio Arriba, Santa Fe, and Taos counties. Their commitment to good citizenship aligns with the credit union philosophy of 'People Helping People.' Eligible organizations can apply for funding, but they must adhere to specific guidelines to ensure community benefit.

Zions Bank Grant supports nonprofit organizations that provide essential services within the communities it serves. Focus areas for funding include affordable housing, arts and culture, community service, inclusive communities, economic development, education, and health and human services. Nonprofits applying must be 501(c)(3) organizations and operate within Zions Bank's market area. Notably, the bank does not fund individuals, for-profit entities, or programs outside its service areas.

The Benton County Affiliate Matching Grantmaking Program, managed by the Benton County Community Foundation, aims to enhance the community's quality of life through strategic grantmaking. This program allows for a matching of 50% of funds raised by local agencies, up to $2,500, with a total of $12,500 available in matching funds. Eligible organizations include 501c3 nonprofits, municipalities, schools, and churches serving Benton County residents, with a focus on community needs.

The DCCF: Build the Future Grant supports construction and expansion projects for local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and public sector entities in DeKalb County, IL. Grants of up to $100,000 are available, paid in multi-year installments, to enhance infrastructure and community impact. This program replaces the large request section of the Community Needs Grant program, streamlining requests for eligible organizations.
