Tyndall Community Foundation Grant

The sole purpose of the Tyndall Community Foundation is to support the general welfare of the Tyndall community.

To date, the Tyndall Community Foundation has given back nearly $70,000 in grants to nonprofit groups and organizations in Tyndall.

Qualification

• Purpose of the project should fulfill a community need. (for example: is your project going to benefit the community in general)
• IRS now requires a non-profit organization be verified by the IRS. Proof of non-profit status may be required upon request. Governmental entities (cities, counties, schools) and churches are exempt from the verification requirements and do qualify to receive grant funding.

Discrimination

Applications from agencies offering services exclusively to one gender, age, group or race will be closely scrutinized for discriminatory practices.

Fund Distribution

• Grant applications must be completed in full.
• Grants will be reviewed and awarded at the discretion of the Tyndall Community Foundation Board.
• All applicants will be informed verbally and /or in writing to the approval or disapproval of their application.
• Funds must be used within 12 months from awarding or funds will revert back to the community funds account.

Limitations

• Tyndall Community Foundation will grant no more than a maximum of 4.5% of Fund’s Value in any single year.
• Recipients may be eligible for one grant every other year, unless surplus money is available.

Sisseton Area Community Foundation Grants

Grants from the Sisseton Area Community Foundation support non-profit organizations and groups that are addressing community needs in the Sisseton area. These grants are selected by a volunteer Advisory Board. 

The Responsible Technology Youth Power Fund is a pioneering initiative empowering youth and intergenerational organizations to shape the responsible technology movement. With $1.5 million in funding, it offers grants between $25,000 and $200,000 to U.S.-based 501(c)(3) public charities. The fund focuses on enhancing human rights, addressing social issues through tech, and ensuring equitable access, while encouraging innovative and equitable solutions from youth-led initiatives.

Selby Community Foundation Grant

Selby Community Foundation was established by a local advisory council in partnership with South Dakota Community Foundation (SDCF). Their goal is to create a long-term funding source for charitable causes in the local area. With careful investment, the fund will continue to thrive and enhance quality of life in the local area creating a lasting legacy. This fund is one of 90 community savings accounts in partnership with SDCF.

Purpose

The Bullis Fund was created from the estate of Jeanette ‘Nettie’ Bullis, an astute businesswoman whose family settled in Macedon in the late 1830s. Grants from income generated by the endowment fund are recommended by a committee of Wayne County representatives to reflect Miss Bullis’ interest in improving the quality of life of residents of Wayne County, especially in the Town of Macedon or within the area served by the Palmyra-Macedon Central School District. Miss Bullis believed strongly in providing a “hand up” not a “hand out.” Therefore, most grants require a matching component.

Funding Criteria

All criteria must be met for a request to be considered. Applications must:

• Show how the project/program provides direct or indirect benefit to residents of southwest Wayne County;
• Indicate how the project/program makes southwest Wayne County significantly better and/or how it has significant community-wide impact;
• Indicate matching or leveraged support from other constituencies.
• Provide evidence of ongoing stability and financial sustainability for the funded projects. How projects will be funded in the future is a key consideration.

Organizations are urged to participate in one of a variety of programs through Causewave Community Partners. These programs are designed to help nonprofit organizations grow their impact and could include: communications, strategic planning, board development, and fundraising support.

RequirementsOperational support refers to general organizational expenses such as staffing, administration, and ongoing program delivery, rather than a specific project.

This initiative promotes community engagement and supports various focus areas, including youth education, civic development, environmental conservation, and arts. Armour Community Foundation

We are one of 90 Community Savings Accounts in South Dakota. Even though we are an agent of the South Dakota Community Foundation, we are able to accept and administer charitable gifts, give good grants to our local nonprofit groups and organizations, and also give scholarships to hopeful young people from our region. Our volunteer advisory council works hard to ensure funds are going to groups and organizations that need it most. Since 2002, the Armour Community Foundation has given back more than $150,000 to the community! 

The Sullivan Family Foundation Grant provides support for organizations dedicated to enhancing the lives of people and animals in the community. Grant requests are accepted on a rolling basis, with quarterly determinations made. This opportunity is ideal for initiatives that align with the foundation's mission to foster positive change and community well-being.

The Camargo Fellowship, awarded by The Camargo Foundation, supports innovative research and interdisciplinary work in the Arts and Humanities. Since its inception in 1971, it has provided residencies to over 1,500 individuals, fostering creativity and collaboration. In the 2025-2026 cycle, 14 applicants will be selected to enjoy a 10-week residency in a serene environment, enabling them to think, create, and connect. The fellowship encourages diverse perspectives and inclusivity in the application process.

The Advancement Grants, offered by the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County, aim to support non-profit arts and humanities organizations in Montgomery County, MD, with annual expenses exceeding $50,000. These grants assist in maintaining financial stability, strategic long-term planning, and promote equity, diversity, inclusion, and access within the arts and humanities sector.

The Bruce Beighle Family Scholarship, offered by Montana State University, provides financial assistance to exceptional students pursuing degrees in Chemical Engineering. This scholarship is designed for Montana high school graduates with a minimum GPA of 2.8, specifically targeting students from select Montana counties. With awards varying in amount, this scholarship aims to support promising students in achieving their academic goals and enhancing their educational experience.

Indiana Clinical & Translational Sciences Institute

The Indiana Clinical & Translational Sciences Institute (CTSI) has been at the forefront of translational research since 2008. From the lab bench to clinical trials and beyond, we help researchers move their scientific findings through the development pipeline.

Research Project Development Teams (PDTS): Project Revision (external resubmissions)

Research Project Development Teams (PDTs) are groups of experienced senior faculty located on each of the Indiana CTSI campuses who will connect you with resources, collaboration opportunities, and small (typically up to $15,000) awards for preliminary or additional data. Each PDT is designed around a common research theme.

There are biostatisticians and regulatory experts on each team, and other experts are added, as needed, to the team when your application is discussed. You will have access to the expertise and knowledge you need all in one place.

The PDT application process is contingent on the stage of the project. You have selected the application process for pilot funding from the PDTs for an external resubmission. This RFP is designed for organizations creating meaningful shifts in how people interpret their experiences, beliefs, and perspectives.

All requests must be project-specific and aligned with the Perception Box framework.

At Unlikely Collaborators, we support people and organizations who are helping others see something about themselves they couldn’t see before. Our work is grounded in the Perception Box, a framework developed by our founder, Elizabeth R. Koch.

The Perception Box is the internal lens through which each of us experiences the world. It is shaped by our beliefs, our past experiences, our identity, and the stories we carry, often without realizing it.

Most of the time, we don’t see this lens. We experience our perspective as reality. But when people begin to notice it, something shifts. There is often more curiosity, less certainty, and more openness to others and new possibilities.

We are not a fit for projects focused primarily on advocacy, external blame, or telling people what to think. We support work that helps people examine how they think.

What this looks like in practice

We are most interested in projects where participants are actively engaged in noticing and questioning their own assumptions. This might include:

• Structured experiences where people reflect on their beliefs and how those beliefs were formed
• Encounters with perspectives that challenge their existing worldview
• Moments of realization where someone recognizes their interpretation may not be the only one
• Practices that build curiosity, self-awareness, and the ability to stay open in the face of difference

• We are not looking for surface-level awareness. We are looking for work that leads to a real moment of recognition, when someone begins to question their own assumptions, reconsider their perspective, or see others differently.
• We prioritize leaders working from lived experience, not distance—people who understand the challenge from the inside and are translating that insight into something others can directly experience.
• The strongest projects are designed to create these moments of reflection in a tangible way. They bring people together in environments that are thoughtful, human, and often unexpected, where insight is felt, not just discussed.

The Entrepreneur in Residence (EiR) scheme by The Royal Society aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry by placing experienced industrial scientists in UK universities. Over two years, award holders will dedicate 20% of their time to enhance knowledge of industrial science and innovation. This initiative supports university staff and students by providing expert advice, fostering entrepreneurship, and developing bespoke projects that align with cutting-edge research, ultimately contributing to the growth of the scientific community.

Leslie Grants - "Small but Mighty!"

A new grant-making approach for the Foundation, Leslie Grants are available to nonprofit organizations seeking requests between $500 and $1,000 all year, any time, until the cycle closes on October 30th 2026, or until the allocated funds are depleted. This grant cycle was introduced to accommodate smaller projects that may require funding outside of the timeline of other grant cycles.

The Wheaton Cultural Project Grants, offered by the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County, support impactful arts and humanities projects in Wheaton, MD. These grants aim to enhance cultural diversity, support underserved communities, and provide professional opportunities for local artists and scholars. Eligible applicants include organizations and individuals residing in Montgomery County, with funding available for a range of artistic disciplines. Projects must engage the public and adhere to current health guidelines.

The Community Foundation of Boone County offers the Community Enrichment Grant to enhance the quality of life for residents, business owners, and visitors in Zionsville. Established in 1991, the foundation has granted over $30 million to support local nonprofits. This grant aims to address unmet needs in the community through partnerships with local organizations. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with awards made semi-annually on March 30 and September 30.

This Request for Information (RFI) seeks input on the urgent need for gigawatt-scale electricity generation and transmission due to rapid demand growth from data centers and advanced manufacturing. The U.S. electric grid faces significant challenges, including limited capacity and aging infrastructure, which could hinder timely interconnection of new energy sources. Stakeholders are invited to provide feedback on overcoming regulatory and operational barriers to meet this escalating demand.

The Capital Projects Grant Program, offered by the DC Commission on the Arts & Humanities, supports organizations that own or rent facilities, intend to own facilities, or seek capital project support for permanent assets in the arts and humanities. It aims to promote stability and growth, preserve infrastructure, ensure access to quality spaces, reduce displacement risk, and foster access for all residents.

The Center of Excellence for Alternative Jet Fuels and Environment, co-led by Washington State University and MIT, focuses on advancing aviation technology through research. Supported by the FAA, NASA, and other federal entities, ASCENT collaborates with 16 top U.S. universities and over 60 stakeholders to enhance the safety and sustainability of aviation. The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) offers the Emerging First-Year Scholars program to provide financial support to women entering their first year of undergraduate studies in Fall 2025. Eligible applicants must plan to study in an ABET-accredited engineering, technology, or computing program and attend full-time. This scholarship aims to empower women in engineering fields and promote diversity in the profession.

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is set to announce a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for multi-site investigator-initiated clinical trials. This initiative aims to support a range of clinical trials addressing efficacy and implementation research.
