African American Achievement Fund

Supporting African American residents of Franklin, Hampden and Hampshire Counties who attend four-year colleges.

In just one application, our Common Scholarship Application provides students access to more than 150 scholarship opportunities with awards ranging from $1,000 to more than $5,000.

In 2025, San Diego Foundation awarded a record-breaking $5.5 million in scholarships to nearly 1,400 students.

William and Lucille Ash Scholarship

Be adult re-entry students (age 25 or older) or former foster youth who plan to enroll full-time at an accredited four-year university, community college or licensed career/technical school in the United States in fall (preference may be given to students attending a school in California).

This scholarship is for a graduating high school senior attending an accredited school full-time, located in WI or MN pursuing an undergraduate degree. Preference goes to a student who shows a passion for visual arts, like painting, drawing, photography, etc. Student shows academic merit, character, and motivation.

Southern California Kids to Parks Grants Program

National Park Trust is thrilled to offer the 2026 Southern California Kids to Parks Grants Program. Open to Title I schools (40% of students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch) based in the Southern California Edison service area (Map of Eligible Locations) for grades 3 through 12, this grant program provides classrooms with up to $1,500 for in-park experiences. While grant requests for all types of park visits are welcome, applicants are encouraged to consider trips to historical sites in honor of the celebration of our country's 250th birthday in 2026.

Funding can be used towards program fees, transportation costs, stewardship supplies, and any other materials needed for a robust learning experience.

This grant is designed to be student-driven, and student-teacher collaboration is a must. All applications must include a stewardship element and a park-themed educational component that focuses on either outdoor recreation and healthy lifestyles, environmental education/science, or history.

Teachers may submit the application on behalf of their class, but direct student involvement in the application is required.

The William and Muriel Reynolds Moreland Scholarship was established at The Pittsburgh Foundation to honor William H. Moreland and Muriel Reynolds Moreland in appreciation of their lifetime commitment to the citizens of the Borough of Dormont, Pennsylvania. Good Sports is a national non-profit organization dedicated to donating new sports equipment, footwear, and apparel to schools and youth organizations across the U.S. This program allows approved organizations to receive up to eight donations over two years. Eligibility includes serving youth aged 3-18 in high poverty areas and ensuring access to physical activity. Organizations must also adhere to specific requirements, including shipping fees and evaluations after each donation.

The New Foundation for Art History (NFAH) offers Fellowships for Contingent Faculty to address the growing reliance on contingent positions in art history. Launched in 2019, these fellowships provide $10,000 to $15,000 for each summer, up to $45,000 over three years. By accommodating the unique schedules of contingent faculty, NFAH aims to support research and publication efforts, facilitating career advancement and promoting equity within the discipline.
