Women Educators Endowed Fund
The Women Educators Scholarship Fund supports applicants pursuing a degree in the field of education with a completion of at least 48 undergraduate credit hours at an accredited Michigan college of education or an institution with a reciprocal agreement.

For High School Seniors & Non Traditional Students who are beginning college more than one year after high school.
The Community Foundation of Wabash County offers a wide variety of post-secondary education scholarships to traditional, non-traditional, and graduate students. With nearly 70 different scholarship endowments created through the generosity of our donors, many students are eligible to apply.
Roy B. Craver Scholarship Endowment
Roy B. Craver was a veteran of World War I. He established a scholarship for residents of Wabash County and graduates of a Wabash County high school who like himself are willing to serve in the armed forces even if they do not intend to enlist.
Greater Kansas City Community Foundation

John Luttig Scholarship Fund
The John Luttig Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to deserving graduating high school seniors from Michigan who are pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Architecture at Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Michigan. The scholarship supports motivated students with a minimum 3.25 high school GPA who have been accepted into LTU’s B.S. Architecture program and enroll directly after high school. Awards are supplemental to existing academic scholarships, with consideration given to financial need, work experience, and community service. Recipients must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA to remain eligible. The scholarship offers a total award of $2,000, disbursed in two equal payments in August and January.

Saginaw County Lawyers’ Auxiliary Scholarship
The Saginaw County Lawyers’ Auxiliary was founded in 1955. Its purpose is to promote the interests of the Saginaw County Bar Association and to encourage law-related activities that contribute to community progress and improvements.
The Saginaw County Lawyers’ Auxiliary Scholarship has been established to benefit a Saginaw County resident pursuing an education in the field of law.

Saginaw County Sports Hall of Fame Scholarship
The Saginaw County Sports Hall of Fame Scholarship was established to assist Saginaw County student-athletes who are continuing their academic and athletic career at Saginaw Valley State University.
The purpose of the corporation is to foster amateur sports competition by recognizing present and former area athletes, coaches and others who have distinguished themselves in the field of athletics, either individually or by virtue of their performance on, or in connection with athletic teams representing their high school, community college, four-year college, university or professional team or sport; or by meritorious effort on behalf of athletics. The corporation will annually nominate, elect, honor and award truly outstanding Saginaw County male and female athletes, both past and present.

Gerstbrein/McCanna Scholarship for the Arts
After a long and rewarding career in Landscape Design and Art Education, Lisa Gerstbrein/McCanna wanted to promote the Arts and Industrial Arts in the community where she made her home and her livelihood. Her career brought her tremendous joy in pursuits that she loved as well as the satisfying reward of helping students find inspiration in the worlds of Art and Industrial Art. She is a true believer in the concept of STEAM based education. Accordingly, she established a fund to provide scholarships for the advanced education of advancing Senior High School Students in these areas who are residents of Armstrong County, Pennsylvania and are pursuing higher education in an approved program within 300 miles of their respective school - Armstrong High School, West Shamokin High School or Lenape Technical School.

Open to full time, third year or higher undergraduate or graduate students who are 3+ year residents of Kent County, attending University of Michigan to study pre-medicine or medical doctor, with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Michigan College Access Network
Since our founding in 2010, Michigan College Access Network has engaged with partners across the state to improve college access and success for all students. Our data-driven approach is focused on providing support where it is needed the most, particularly among students from low-income backgrounds, students who would be the first in their family to graduate college, and students of color. We believe in the power of higher education to improve individual lives, with positive effects that ripple out into their communities. We are committed to Michigan’s Sixty by 30 attainment goal — 60% of residents earning a postsecondary certificate or degree by the year 2030 — in pursuit of a better future for all Michiganders.

Take Flight: 2026 Sixty by 30 Pitch Competition
MCAN is seeking scalable, high-impact college attainment strategies or ideas to expand across the state to move Michigan closer to its Sixty by 30 goal!
During MCAN’s third annual pitch competition, individuals will present an idea that has the potential to impact Michigan’s college attainment rate. The top 3 finalists will all win a cash prize for their inspiring ideas! Don’t worry — you won’t be responsible for actually implementing the idea or demonstrating impact (it’s not a grant).
Goals: To foster creativity and celebrate innovative, potentially high-impact college attainment ideas in the state of Michigan. MCAN uses the term college to refer to attainment of education beyond high school, including postsecondary certificates and academic degrees. Ideas may be direct service or systems change interventions.
Pitch Details: We welcome ideas around any of the following areas (not an exhaustive list):
In particular, we welcome ideas that encourage cross-sector collaboration (K-12, higher ed, workforce). We welcome BIG ideas that address systems issues and are impactful or scalable across the state.
All ideas should focus on advancing equity through education with a particular emphasis eliminating barriers and improving systems for students from low-income background, students of color, and first-generation college-going students.
Considerations for Entities: We recognize that some ideas may come from the collective brain power of an organization, and some may be the thoughts of an individual. In some instances, individuals may be representing an LLC or nonprofit organization. Submissions by any of these are acceptable. During the pitch presentation at the MCAN conference, only 1 individual per idea is allowed to present the idea on-stage.
Cash Prize: The top three finalists will attend the MCAN conference Nov. 3-4 at the Grand Traverse Resort in Traverse City. MCAN will cover the registration fee for 1 finalist per idea.
At the conference, each finalist will present their pitch on the main stage to the conference attendees, and attendees will vote to identify the first, second, and third place ideas.

Open to full time, second year or higher undergraduate students who are residents of Kent County and are graduates of a Grand Rapids Public Schools high school attending a college in the state of Michigan studying education and with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Grand Traverse Regional Community FoundationThe Grand Traverse Regional Community Foundation began in 1992 when a group of community champions came together around a vision to give back to our region then, now, and forever.This vision lives on within our organization today as we support the people and places of Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, and Leelanau Counties and the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa & Chippewa Indians.Together with our partners, we spark positive change for a variety of local causes, including youth, arts and culture, education, environment, and health and human services, across our region.Helen and Dale Cropsey Scholarship Endowment (Leelanau County)Available to residents of the Suttons Bay or the Bingham area, including graduating high school seniors and students currently attending an accredited post secondary educational institution in the state of Michigan. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and attend church in the Suttons Bay or Bingham area. Priority will be given to students attending/planning to attend Michigan State University and who attend Immanuel Lutheran Church or First Lutheran Church. Previous recipients are eligible to apply.
Fraternal Order of Police Wayne B. Fitch Lodge 138 Scholarship
A scholarship awarded to a graduating senior residing in Calhoun County or graduating from a school within the CISD who is pursuing a career in law enforcement or as a corrections officer. Applicants must demonstrate a financial need, and be accepted to a Michigan college or university with an accredited Law Enforcement Program. GPA is not a determining factor.
