This grant will provide funding to qualified responders to attend “Jobsville” team meetings twice per month as part of implementing the Progressive Employment model, as well as to attend Progressive Employment training and other related meetings and trainings. These funds will be provided to qualified responders to supplement the provision of work-based learning activities and employment services to participants of the Go MN! program.

The purpose of this grant is to provide services to adults currently working or contemplating work in subminimum wage employment and for youth who are considering subminimum wage employment to explore careers with businesses in the Woodbury service area. This grant will be limited to working with individuals in the pilot area and the Go MN! project will help participants explore employment opportunities across different industries.

Up to 3 qualified responders are eligible for up to $10,000 for up to 2 staff members per responder who would work under this grant at $5,000 per staff member. 

The Tommy Aaron/Charlie Aaron Foundation Scholarship, managed by the North Georgia Community Foundation, supports graduating seniors from Hall County or Gainesville City public schools and Lakeview Academy. This $10,000 scholarship, distributed over four years, promotes academic achievement and integrity through golf. Eligible applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5, demonstrate financial need, and exhibit strong character traits. This initiative aims to empower local students to pursue higher education while honoring the values of sportsmanship and respect.

The Urological Epidemiology Research Career Development Program (UroEpi K12) supports junior faculty in advancing research on non-malignant urologic conditions. Donald and Mary Frink Scholarship

The scholarship provides support for students who are hearing impaired.

The NIDCD Mentored Career Development Award for Postdoctorate Au.D./Ph.D. Audiologists (K01) aims to foster the development of promising audiologists through comprehensive postdoctoral research experiences. This funding opportunity supports individuals in biomedical, behavioral, or clinical sciences, helping them become independent researchers. The program invests in innovative solutions and models that support personalized education for these students, ensuring they have access to quality instruction and belonging within school communities. With a focus on equity, it seeks ideas that align with its core investment areas and addresses the needs of marginalized learners.

The Pittsburgh Foundation provides scholarship opportunities for students to pursue their educational goals. Scholarships are available for graduating high school seniors, undergraduates, graduate, medical and professional school students who are attending community colleges, four–year universities, graduate schools, and career/technical schools.

Kenneth P. Rutter (Rotary) Scholarship Fund

The Kenneth P. Rutter Scholarship Fund was established at The Community Foundation of Westmoreland County to award a scholarship to a traditional or non-traditional applicant residing in Westmoreland County, who has achieved a high school diploma or equivalent including a GED or Home School certificate. Preference will be given to students who seek to enter the Christian Ministry, and/or who have exhibited a strong interest in Community Service and Humanitarian Service.

Yellow Dog Studio Memorial Scholarship

The Yellow Dog Studios Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of Mari Zimmerman-Thompson and Christopher Thompson. Mari and Chris became husband and wife in May of 2002. They lived their remaining years together as kindred spirits until July 2, 2015 when a tragic automobile accident took them from their family and friends.

Katrin Lamon Fellowship
