CSA Midwest Region: Beth Dunlap Award
The Midwestern Region presents The Beth Dunlap Award at the Regional Symposium. The award will be offered to a person who has made contributions worthy of the highest commendation and the achievements will have continued importance. Beth Dunlap was one of the founding members of the Midwestern Region. A fashion illustrator and artist, she passed away in 2009.

American Truck Historical Scholarship Fund
The American Truck Historical Society’s George Schroyer Memorial Scholarship Fund provides two (2) annual scholarships, and the Cummins Scholarship provides one (1) scholarship to graduating high school seniors or undergraduates who intend to further their education at a two-year or four-year accredited U.S. college or university or vocational/technical school that have certification programs.
Financial need, community service, and extracurricular activities will also be taken into consideration. Applicants must be family members (child, stepchild, or grandchild) of current members in good standing for 2 years of the American Truck Historical Society. Preference for all scholarships will be given to applicants pursuing positions in the trucking or transportation industry.

Hillcrest Transitional Housing Youth Scholarship Fund
The purpose of the Fund shall be to provide scholarships to current residents or graduates of Hillcrest’s Youth Program who demonstrate a desire and an aptitude to pursue higher education.
In evaluating applicants, the student’s response to an essay question in the scholarship application inviting them to express personally why they are pursuing their education will be a determining factor.
Scholarships will be awarded on an annual basis and disbursed in equal payments to the educational institution in August and January.
Applications are accepted year round however formal announcements will be made in April and November of each year.
Students may reapply annually up to four years as long as the student is making progress towards earning a degree. Progress towards earning a degree includes: a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester or its equivalent, passing classes, being in good standing with the educational institution, not dropping out, and other criteria as determined by the Youth Scholarship Committee.

Henry, Trina, Laurianna Wash Family Scholarship Fund
The purpose of this scholarship fund is to allow African American young men who have graduated from the High Asperations program to get scholarships for 2 or 4 year colleges and/or vocational/trade schools.
This scholarship is named after the foundation family of High Aspirations. The scholarship is named after them for their tireless work they have done in the Kansas City community through High Aspirations, Inc. since 2003.

Foley Equipment Scholarship Fund
This scholarship is established to support mechanically-inclined high school students seeking a technical college or post-secondary degree focused on a career in heavy equipment, diesel, and/or electric power generation.
Preference will be given to women and minorities. This scholarship is renewable for up to 2 years as long as the student remains eligible.

The American Truck Historical Society’s Louis Semple Clarke Educational Fund scholarship provides one (1) annual scholarship to graduating high school seniors or undergraduates who intend to further their education at a two-year or four-year accredited U.S. college or university or vocational/technical school that have certification programs.
Financial need, community service, and extracurricular activities will also be taken into consideration. Applicants are restricted to Autocar Company employees and family members (child, stepchild, or grandchild). Preference for all scholarships will be given to applicants pursuing positions in the trucking or transportation industry.
Scholarships will be awarded on an annual basis and disbursed in equal payments.

Carol T. Berner Women in STEM Scholarship Fund
The purpose of this fund is to encourage women in Missouri to be active and succeed in science, technology, engineering, and math.
Carol T. Berner M.D. was a believer in music, art, and equality. Since very young, she was consistently being dissuaded from her goals. By the time she was accepted to Medical school at Saint Louis University, she was one of the only females in her class. She was unceasing in her care for her patient’s, family, and friends. Her belief in equality extended to them all.
Students are able to reapply each year.

Astronomical Society of Kansas City Astronomy Scholarship Fund
This fund was established by the Astronomical Society of Kansas City to provide academic scholarships to students who have expressed an interest in studying Astronomy, or a related field, and have been accepted into the Department of Physics at University of Missouri-Kansas City. Scholarship support must be used for tuition and/or class-related materials (i.e. textbooks, lab fees, equipment).

Carlson Family Educational Foundation Fund
The purpose of this scholarship fund is to assist students who plan to attend junior college, trade schools, university or certification training who have demonstrated a strong work ethic both inside and outside the classroom.
The purpose of the Minority Police Officer Recruitment and Retention (MPORR) project is to support minority police officer recruitment and retention programs located in a city not within a county with such program being administered and overseen by an African-American police officer association that supports efforts in reducing crime in a city not in a county and county with more than one million inhabitants.

Kris Paper Legacy Scholarship for Women in Technology Fund
The Kris Paper Legacy Scholarship for Women in Technology Fund provides an annual scholarship to a graduating female high school senior or returning female college student who intends to further their education at a two-year or four-year college or university or at a vocational or technical school who share Kris Paper’s love of technology and will be seeking a degree in a technology related field.

Mary J. Weber Memorial Scholarship Fund
The purpose of the Mary J. Weber Scholarship Fund is to provide scholarships to high school graduates who intend to further their education at a two-year or four-year college or university or trade/technical school. Preference will be given to graduates of Shawnee Mission Northwest High School in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, and Andale High School in Andale, Kansas. The Fund is established in memory of Mary J. Weber, a 1960 graduate of Andale High School.
Scholarships are not automatically renewable, however scholarship recipients may re-apply in years after their initial receipt of the scholarship.
The goal of State Cyber Crime Grant (SCCG) is to make funds available to reduce internet sex crimes against children and improve public safety for children through investigations, forensics, and prevention. This program provides support for the continued operation of multi jurisdictional law enforcement cybercrime task forces.

Brian's Fund Scholarship
Brian’s Fund Scholarship will be awarded to an eighth grader who has been accepted at one of the following Kansas City Catholic high schools: Bishop Miege High School, Bishop Ward, Cristo Rey, Notre Dame De Sion, Rockhurst High School, St. James Academy, St. Michael the Archangel, St. Pius X, St. Teresa’s Academy or St Thomas Aquinas.
