However, Costco limits grants to 10% of the program budget and typically restricts organizations to one request per fiscal year. They do not fund individuals or direct aid for various specific purposes.

The Creag Foundation, established in 2009 in Woodinville, Washington, provides funding to innovative 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations addressing social issues. Focused on smaller organizations, the foundation seeks to support those with unique approaches to improve the human condition. Eligible applicants must have held 501(c)(3) status for at least one year and present a new or previously unaddressed solution to societal challenges. Applications are by invitation only, encouraging creativity and passion in charitable work.

The Daniels Fund Grants Program offers support to nonprofit organizations in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming, focusing on areas such as Aging, Amateur Sports, Disabilities, and Youth Development. However, funding is not available for individuals, religious programs, or organizations outside the U.S. By addressing critical community needs, these grants foster safer and more resilient neighborhoods.

The Hearst Foundation: Culture Grant aims to support outstanding nonprofits that enhance cultural engagement and artistic talent in the U.S. With a focus on programs that reach young people, the grant prioritizes organizations that create lasting impacts in the arts and sciences. The Foundation allocates 25% of its funding to cultural initiatives, favoring established organizations with a history of significant results. Supported by local individuals and businesses, the fund focuses on improving mental and physical health, fostering the arts, and addressing the needs of youth and the elderly. Grants will facilitate essential services, ensuring a lasting impact and collaboration among LGBTQIA+ groups in the region.

The Globe Life Texas Rangers Baseball and Softball Grant Program supports nonprofit baseball and softball initiatives across five states, including Texas and Arkansas. This program aims to enhance youth sports by providing funding for essential needs such as field renovations, equipment, and uniforms. Since 2012, it has awarded over $1.1 million to more than 150 organizations, ensuring children have access to the joy and community of sports. Grants are available to 501(c)(3) organizations serving youth aged 18 and under.

The Penn National Gaming Foundation Grants support various community initiatives across North America, emphasizing education, health services, and cultural affairs. Launched post-Hurricane Katrina, the foundation aids local nonprofits, enhancing community development, public safety, and veteran support. The grants cater to organizations that address the needs of children, senior citizens, and disadvantaged populations, ensuring a broad impact in areas where Penn National Gaming operates. This commitment reflects the foundation's dedication to uplifting communities and fostering resilience.

The Non-traditional Education Pathway Grant from the PNM | TNMP Foundation provides unrestricted funding to support underserved New Mexicans, including youth, veterans, and seniors. This initiative targets programs that enhance STEAM education, housing, food access, and other essential learning supports. By fostering collaboration and sustainability, the grant aims to empower communities and ensure measurable impact, helping individuals overcome challenges and thrive.

The Sumners Foundation Grant aims to engage and educate the public about self-government through various programs, including civic education, democracy reform, and teacher training. Grants are available to qualified 501(c)(3) organizations primarily in Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma, supporting activities that foster civic engagement and understanding of democratic principles. The Foundation emphasizes direct involvement in the political process and does not fund political activities or provide individual grants.

Result: Arts and Culture is celebrated and reflected in the community.

We will work to improve the following outcomes in our communities:

• Sense of community – residents feeling connected to the community and each other
• Openness and acceptance of the community toward people of diverse backgrounds
• Diverse participation in art and cultural community programs and events
• Preservation and strengthening of cultural and historical heritage, traditions, and a creative economy

Through direct service, policy advocacy and/or collaboration efforts, priority strategies will address: 

• Lifting up and preserving cultural and historical heritage, tradition, and assets of the region;
• Using art as a bridge to communicate across cultures and languages and build transformational relationships to advance equity;
• Using art, culture, language, and community stories to shift narratives, shape public conversations, and influence policy;
• Improving access to arts and cultural programs to benefit youth and families who otherwise would not have the opportunities; and/or
• Systems change including public policy, civic engagement, community organizing or public information to preserve and strengthen the arts and cultural segment of the creative economy locally.

Grant Size

We offer $5,000, $10,000, $15,000, or $20,000 general operating support depending on your annual budget:

• Organizations with an annual budget up to $50,000 may apply for a $5,000 grant;
• Organizations with an annual budget between $50,001 - $150,000 may apply for a $10,000 grant;
• Organizations with an annual budget between $150,001 - $500,000 may apply for a $15,000 grant; and
• Organizations with an annual budget of $500,001 or more may apply for a $20,000 grant.

The Arts Learning in Schools and In Community grant by New Mexico Arts supports arts education for K-12 students in both school and community settings. It invites applications from charter schools, 501(c)(3) private schools, and organizations. This initiative emphasizes creative arts activities, integration into other subjects, and professional development for educators. Eligible organizations can renew applications for subsequent funding cycles, ensuring continued support for impactful arts programs.

The Georgia-Pacific Foundation Grant supports organizations in the Metro Atlanta area, focusing on education, entrepreneurship, community enrichment, and environmental sustainability. Established in 1958, the foundation prioritizes investments that align with its mission and values, promoting long-term well-being within communities where Georgia-Pacific operates. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) nonprofits, public schools, and local government entities located within 30 miles of GP manufacturing sites.

The NRA Foundation: New Mexico Grants provide funding to support charitable purposes related to firearms safety and education. Eligible organizations must hold a Federal Employer Identification Number and can include IRS 501(c)(3) entities, government entities, or state-recognized nonprofits. The grants aim to promote shooting sports, educate the public on firearms, and support competitive events while ensuring that funding is used for charitable activities, not for profit-driven purposes.

The Dr. Scholl Foundation offers grants annually to IRS 501(c)(3) organizations, primarily focusing on U.S. applicants. The foundation supports projects in education, social services, healthcare, civic and cultural initiatives, and environmental efforts. While the grant cycle runs from October 1 to March 1, it encourages innovative solutions to global challenges. Only one application per organization is accepted each year, and funding is limited to one year. Unqualified organizations, including political entities, are ineligible.

The Albuquerque Community Foundation offers Field of Interest Grants to support diverse nonprofit organizations in the Greater Albuquerque Metropolitan Area. Annually, grants ranging from $10,000 to $20,000 are awarded to initiatives in arts, education, environmental preservation, economic development, human services, health, and animal welfare. Organizations must have a minimum three-year history and align with the Foundation's values and fields of interest, ensuring impactful contributions to the community.

The Employees Community Fund (ECF) of The Boeing Company supports community initiatives through grants aimed at education, veterans, and local needs in New Mexico. With over 60 years of empowering employees, ECF pools donations to benefit STEM programs, veterans outreach, and community enrichment. The New Mexico chapter focuses on creating pathways for skilled workers while enhancing the quality of life for those in need. This collaborative effort facilitates meaningful impacts for youth and veterans, fostering the next generation of engineers and scientists.

The New Mexico Clean and Beautiful Grant Program, administered by the New Mexico Tourism Department, aims to foster community beautification, reduce waste, and eliminate litter across the state. This initiative supports municipalities, counties, and Tribal Governments by providing financial assistance and technical guidance to promote litter control and enhance recycling efforts. The program empowers local organizations, aiming to create a cleaner and more beautiful environment for all New Mexicans.

The O'Reilly Automotive Foundation Grant focuses on enhancing community welfare through philanthropic initiatives that support economic stability, workforce development, health services, and disaster relief. Established in 2020, the Foundation seeks to empower underrepresented individuals and organizations in the U.S. by addressing vital community needs. It particularly aims to provide assistance to nonprofits that foster positive change and improve quality of life for those in need, ensuring a lasting impact in local communities.
