Clean Energy Career Pathways Training (PON 6121)

NYSERDA is seeking proposals for Clean Energy Career Pathways projects. These projects must include clean energy technical training as well as career preparation, wraparound services, and job placement support to prepare new workers for entry-level clean energy careers. Projects funded under this solicitation are intended to build or expand training infrastructure and capacity to build an equitable and inclusive pipeline of skilled talent for New York’s clean energy labor market. All training funded under this solicitation must be industry-driven and meet a demonstrated business need.

Total funding for this solicitation is $30 million, with up to $1.5 million per project. Additional funds may be added to this solicitation, if available, at NYSERDA’s discretion.

Funding is available for training that advances skills in the following clean energy technology areas: energy efficiency and building electrification; renewable energy; energy storage; smart grid; and electric vehicle charging stations (installation, operation and maintenance). 

The Appalachian Landscapes Project - Capital Grants Application Fall 2025 by the Open Space Institute aims to enhance conservation across the Appalachian Mountain region. The project, expected to last five years, will ensure data integrity and public accessibility, enhancing environmental protection efforts. This initiative supports collaboration with local environmental agencies to determine optimal locations for additional acoustic receivers.

SC Johnson Grants aim to enhance community welfare through charitable contributions, focusing on health, sustainability, and opportunity. Since 1937, the company has committed five percent of its pretax profits to support registered charities and nonprofit organizations, especially in areas where it operates. The grant program prioritizes initiatives addressing healthcare access, environmental conservation, and educational equity, ensuring that efforts align with the values of community service and corporate responsibility.

The Conservation Connect Fellowship Program, offered by the National Forest Foundation, invites graduate students to engage in hands-on conservation projects. This fellowship provides practical experience, mentorship from conservation professionals, and training in collaborative leadership. Fellows will gain a deep understanding of forest management and expand their professional networks. New York State Office of Mental Health

The New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) oversees a large multi-faceted mental health system serving nearly 800,000 individuals each year. This includes operating 23 psychiatric centers and overseeing the Nathan S. Kline Institute and New York Psychiatric Institute. OMH regulates and certifies more than 6,500 programs operated by local governments and nonprofit agencies.

Community Mental Health Loan Repayment Program: Mental Health Clinicians

The Office of Mental Health is awarding state aid grants for community agencies that want to offer student loan repayment funds to eligible professionals in exchange for a 3-year service commitment.

Agencies must provide eligible mental health programs licensed or authorized by OMH.

For the 2026 MH Clinicians RFP up to $5M is available annually ($15M over 3 years). These funds will support a minimum of 500 awards. $1.5M annually ($4.5M over 3 years) is set aside for eligible professionals who, as members of groups traditionally underrepresented in the mental health field, provide culturally competent care for populations underserved in mental health.

Agencies can apply on behalf eligible professionals with the following titles for awards of up to $30,000 over the 3-year service commitment:

• licensed master social workers (LMSWs)
• licensed clinical social workers (LCSWs)
• licensed mental health counselors (LMHCs)
• licensed marriage and family therapists (LMFTs)
• licensed creative arts therapists (LCATs)
• licensed occupational therapists (OTR/Ls or OT/Ls)
• licensed psychoanalysts
• licensed psychologists

Request for Proposals - Environmental Review Services for Blue Buffers Program

Enterprise Community Partners, Inc. ("Enterprise") was selected as a subrecipient of New York State Housing and Community Renewal to administer the Blue Buffers Program pursuant to a subaward. To fulfill its obligations, Enterprise formed a special purpose entity, Enterprise Assisted Properties, LLC (“EAP”).

EAP is seeking to procure professional services for environmental review for eligible properties in the New York State Blue Buffers Voluntary Risk Property Buyout Program (Blue Buffers Program) in the Town of Brookhaven, Mastic Beach, New York. The Sarah K. de Coizart Perpetual Charitable Trust, established in 1992, focuses on supporting species conservation and blindness-related services in the Northeast United States. Grants range from $20,000 to $75,000 for conservation projects and $20,000 to $50,000 for blindness initiatives. Priority is given to endangered species and innovative research efforts. NY PLAYS: Places for Learning, Activity, and Youth Socialization

Recognizing that Playgrounds promote physical activity, exercise, and building friendships – and that research shows outdoor play supports emotional well-being – Governor Hochul announced the New York Places for Learning, Activity, and Youth Socialization (NY PLAYS) Initiative. This new competitive grant program will support the design, construction, and renovation of Playgrounds that are open to the public in Communities across the State.
