The Pioneer Scholarship Fund
Purpose:
This Scholarship Fund was established to provide financial assistance for higher education attainment to first generation need-based students residing in Greenville County.
Criteria:
Preference will be given to African American applicants who meet the outlined criteria, demonstrate financial need, and reside in a single-earner household. However, the final decision will be based on how well applicants meet the overall scholarship requirements, including past academic achievements and future goals.
Hamilton Community Foundation (Ohio)
The Hamilton Community Foundation, established in 1951 and headquartered in the historic Lane-Hooven House in Hamilton, Ohio, is the largest community foundation in Butler County. As a public charity managing over $160 million in assets and more than 900 individual, family, corporate, and nonprofit endowment funds, the Foundation is dedicated to making the community a better place to live, work, and play. It awards millions of dollars annually in grants and scholarships, addressing critical local priorities such as education, social and health issues affecting children and families, and community revitalization. By offering donors the impact of a private foundation without administrative burdens, and by adhering to National Standards for U.S. Community Foundations, the Hamilton Community Foundation demonstrates a long-standing commitment to financial stewardship, transparency, and lasting community impact, ensuring philanthropic resources continue to benefit the region in perpetuity.
Scholarships for Students Graduating from High School
Our scholarships are open to to students attending any school in Butler County, Ohio with a focus on those attending: Hamilton High School, Stephen T. Badin, Ross High School, New Miami High School, Lakota High Schools, Middletown High School, Talawanda High School, Edgewood High School and Fairfield High School.
The Pittsburgh Foundation
Established in 1945, The Pittsburgh Foundation is one of the nation’s oldest community foundations and as of 2022 is the 18th largest of more than 750 similar foundations across the United States.
As a community foundation, its resources comprise endowment funds established by individuals, businesses and organizations with a passion for charitable giving and fulfilling the Foundation’s mission of improving quality of life for all in the region. The Foundation currently manages about 2,500 individual donor funds and, together with its supporting organizations and its affiliate, The Community Foundation of Westmoreland County, has assets of $1.386 billion (2022). Grantmaking benefits a broad spectrum of basic needs and development opportunities within Pittsburgh and beyond.
Scholarships
The Pittsburgh Foundation and The Community Foundation of Westmoreland County provide scholarship opportunities for local students to pursue their educational goals. Scholarships are available for graduating high school seniors, undergraduates, graduate, medical and professional school students who are attending community colleges, four-year universities and career/technical schools.
Eugene "Babe" Fabrizi Fund to Educate Music Students
The Eugene “Babe” Fabrizi Fund to Educate Music Students of The Pittsburgh Foundation was created to support young or adult musicians.
Award Type: Single Year. Previous recipients are encouraged to re-apply in consecutive years.

The KCPCA Scholarship provides needed financial assistance to support LGBTQ+ students who are resident of Jackson, Clay, Platte or Buchannan counties in Missouri and Johnson, Wyandotte or Douglas counties in Kansas of all background and educational interests. We prioritize LGBTA+ students who need it most and who have some or all of the following experiences:

Kenneth P. Rutter (Rotary) Scholarship Fund
The Kenneth P. Rutter Scholarship Fund was established at The Community Foundation of Westmoreland County to award a scholarship to a traditional or non-traditional applicant residing in Westmoreland County, who has achieved a high school diploma or equivalent including a GED or Home School certificate. Preference will be given to students who seek to enter the Christian Ministry, and/or who have exhibited a strong interest in Community Service and Humanitarian Service.

PFund Foundation
PFund Foundation builds equity with LGBTQ+ communities across the Upper Midwest by providing grants and scholarships, developing leaders, and inspiring giving.
PFund Foundation Scholarship
PFund Scholarship Grants are for LGBTQ+ students of all ages who are either from or studying in the Upper Midwest. Grants range from $1,000-$12,000 and can be used for a wide variety of expenses and programs. Scholarships also include a lifetime membership to the PFund Scholar Alumni program which includes annual professional development and networking opportunities. There is one application window per year.
The Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts administers over 160 scholarships. Some of the funds help students from a particular school or area; others provide financial assistance to those pursuing a specific field of study; still others assist students that are most in need. Students who apply to the Scholarship program may be eligible for many of these funds.
Scholarships are provided for one academic year and are not automatically renewed each year. You can reapply to our program every year you are going to attend college, and the application you submit that year will be considered for all scholarships for which you are eligible.
Loren and Norma Hill Scholarship Fund
To support students of color as defined by the Foundation, with a preference for residents of Hampden County.
